Amsterdam, 25 March 2010 - The Supervisory Board of TomTom N.V. will propose to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, to be held on 26 April 2010, the reappointment of Mr. Karel Vuursteen as a member of the Supervisory Board. In accordance with the Dutch corporate governance code, the term of appointment will be four years. His re-appointment will become effective as of 26 April 2010.
Karel Vuursteen (1941) is currently Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TomTom N.V. Mr. Vuursteen is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Akzo Nobel N.V., a member of the Supervisory Board of ING Group N.V., a member of the Board of Directors of Heineken Holding N.V. and a member of the Board of Henkel KGaA. He is also Chairman of Stichting Concertgebouw Fonds and Vice Chairman of Stichting Nyenrode Universiteit.
