Technology company IAI industrial systems will supply passport personalisation systems to Uzbekistan

Technology company IAI industrial systems B.V. in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, a subsidiary of the stock listed company DOCDATA N.V. in Waalwijk, The Netherlands, will supply three BookMaster One systems to Uzbekistan for the personalisation of the new Uzbek passport. The systems will be supplied via main contractor Oberthur Technologies in Paris, France. The systems will be installed at the State Center of Personification in Tashkent and are expected to be delivered in 2011.

BookMaster One systems perform the entire personalisation of the passport in one pass through the machine including verification of all processing done. Thus, the systems turn blank books, inserted in the machine, into fully personalized passports ready for issuing.

Being a leading equipment supplier to the Security Printing market, IAI industrial systems also supplies systems for securing and/or personalisation of ID-cards, driver licences, banknotes, diplomas and other security documents.
