TKH acquires an 5.06% interest in Nedap

The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of TKH Group N.V. ("TKH") today announce TKH's acquisition of 338,398 shares (equal to a 5.06% interest) in N.V. Nederlandsche Apparatenfabriek Nedap ("Nedap"), for an aggregate amount of € 6.260.363.

TKH also announces that it has been in contact with Nedap during the past few weeks regarding a possible merger of TKH and Nedap. TKH had made a proposal to Nedap in this regard, including an invitation for further exploratory meetings. Ultimately, Nedap's Executive Board and Supervisory Board expressed that since Nedap felt TKH's proposal lacked sufficient basis for a fit, they considered the exploratory discussions as discontinued.

TKH respects Nedap's choice to discontinue talks about a possible merger. TKH also considers these exploratory discussions as having come to an end.

TKH acquired the 5.06% interest in view of strategic defensive considerations.
