Derde kwartaal 2011 Trading Update Rotterdam, 10 november 2011

Gang van zaken derde kwartaal 2011

Amsterdam Commodities (Acomo) meldt dat de activiteiten zich in het derde kwartaal van 2011 verder positief ontwikkeld hebben. Er was sprake van levendige handel en hoge commodity prijzen. De omzet over de eerste 9 maanden van 2011 bedroeg € 409 miljoen (HJ 2011: € 271,4 M) en ook de resultaten bleven in lijn met de gunstige trend van het eerste halfjaar.

Alle groepsondernemingen waren winstgevend en met name Catz International kende een sterk kwartaal. Wij zijn positief gestemd betreffende de activiteiten en de resultaten voor de rest van het jaar en over heel 2011 bekeken.

Directie en commissarissen bevestigen hun verwachting dat 2011 opnieuw een goed jaar voor de aandeelhouders zal worden.

Third quarter 2011 Trading Update Rotterdam, 10 November 2011

Current business third quarter 2011

Amsterdam Commodities (Acomo) reports that the activities in the third quarter 2011 continued to develop positively. We saw active trading and high commodity prices. Consolidated sales for the 9 months 2011 until September amounted to € 409 million (HY 2011: € 271.4 M) and also the results remained in line with the favorable trend of the first half year.

All the group activities traded profitably, and especially Catz International achieved a strong quarter.

We are positive about the activities and the results for the remainder of the year and for 2011 overall.

Management and Supervisory Board confirm their earlier expectation that 2011 will again be a good year for the shareholders of Acomo.
