Technology company IAI industrial systems will supply 5 BookMaster One systems to a non-European country

Technology company IAI industrial systems B.V. in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, a subsidiary of the stock listed company DOCDATA N.V. in Waalwijk, The Netherlands, will supply 5 BookMaster One systems for the personalisation of passports to a non-European country. The first system will be delivered in 2012 and the remaining 4 systems during the first half of 2013.

At request of the country concerned, no further details can be disclosed at this stage.

BookMaster One systems perform the entire personalisation of the passport in one pass through the machine including verification of all processing done. Thus, the systems turn blank books, inserted in the machine, into fully personalized passports ready for issuing. In 2011, IAI started the development of a 2nd generation of its BookMaster One systems and further expanded the functionalities of these systems. The design of the 2nd generation BookMaster One has been modified to a modular setup. This enables customers to procure and employ the total functionality of the systems or parts of it, all at once or in phases.

Being a leading equipment supplier to the Security Printing market, IAI industrial systems supplies systems for securing and/or personalisation of passports, identity cards, driver licences, banknotes, diplomas and other security documents.

IAI's systems are in use in many countries such as: Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, Sweden, China, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Portugal, Estonia, Costa Rica, Poland, Morocco, South Africa, Bulgaria, Algeria, India and Uzbekistan.
