Holland Colours is pleased to announce that as of 1 November 2014 Margret Kleinsman is appointed Chief Financial Officer. She succeeds Marco Kok who – as announced earlier – will leave the company as of December 31, 2014.

Margret has gained a wealth of experience in finance, control, IT roles and in general management within AkzoNobel, amongst others in various business unit Finance & IT Director roles. Most recently she was Managing Director sub Business Unit Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas in Atlanta (USA). During her career she has twice worked and lived in the USA.

Johan Leugs has been appointed Director Innovation & Technology as per 1 November 2014. Johan has a wealth of experience in R&D- management en process (technology) related roles en has developed various innovative ideas and quality systems. He gained pigment and polymer knowledge at Ciba Specialty Chemicals.

Most recently he worked as Global Lead Process Development & Engineering at Sealed Air in the Netherlands, responsible for the global strategy of the International Process Development & Engineering group.

Both will report to Rob Harmsen, President of the company.

Holland Colours NV was founded in 1979 and has been listed on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange since 1989. It is an independent Dutch company with offices in North America, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Holland Colours makes products for colouring synthetic materials. These so-called colour concentrates are available as both solid and liquid. The key products in solid form are Holcobatch and Holcoprill. The liquid products Holland Colours makes are pastes for colouring Silicones & Elastomers, PET packaging and various other applications.

Holland Colours concentrates worldwide on three focus markets:

• Building & Construction (especially PVC applications);
• Packaging (especially PET applications);
• Silicones & Elastomers.

Around 80% of turnover is realized in these three markets.

Virtually the entire production is generated by our four principal plants in the Netherlands, Hungary, the United States and Indonesia.

Holland Colours is organized in three regional divisions that operate as profit centres in each specific region: Europe (including the Middle East, India and Africa), the Americas and Asia.

The global distribution of sales is: Europe 54%, Americas 32% and Asia 14%.
