ABN AMRO Group revokes 403-declaration for ABN AMRO Bank

ABN AMRO Group N.V. ("ABN AMRO Group") revokes the 403-liability statement issued for the benefit of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. ("ABN AMRO Bank") as of 1 June 2015. ABN AMRO Group has notified the trade register of the chamber of commerce of the withdrawal.

The 403-liability statement provided ABN AMRO Group an exemption for ABN AMRO Bank to publish annual consolidated financial accounts. Due to changes in laws and regulations, ABN AMRO Bank publishes consolidated annual financial accounts as of 2014, cancelling the need for having a 403-declaration.

Following the withdrawal ABN AMRO Group will no longer guarantee the liabilities of ABN AMRO Bank. As ABN AMRO Group has no activities of its own and the only asset is ABN AMRO Bank, no impact of the withdrawal is expected for ABN AMRO Bank's creditors.
