Saipem: ricevuta notifica di termination for convenience del contratto South Stream BV

San Donato Milanese, 9 luglio 2015 - Saipem informa di aver ricevuto nella tarda serata dell'8 luglio notifica della termination for convenience del contratto South Stream BV.

La termination for convenience e' una clausola contrattuale standard che prevede la possibilità di recedere dall'accordo in assenza di violazioni dello stesso, a fronte di un compenso determinato in coerenza con i termini e le condizioni del contratto.

Saipem conferma che il Castoro 6, mezzo navale per la posa delle condotte sottomarine, si stava ormeggiando nelle acque territoriali russe per cominciare le attività di posa della condotta.

Saipem: received notification of termination for convenience of the South Stream BV contract

San Donato Milanese, 9 July 2015 - Saipem informs that late in the evening of July 8th it received notification of the termination for convenience of the South Stream BV contract.

The termination for convenience is a standard contractual clause which provides for the termination of the agreement in the absence of a contractual breach, with compensation determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

Saipem confirms that the pipelaying vessel Castoro 6 was in the process of mooring in Russian waters to start pipelaying activities.
