GO internet signs agreement with EI Towers for LTE

The agreement will foster a strong commercial development, increase coverage and strengthen the LTE network

Gubbio, 21st July 2015 – GO internet S.p.A., an Italian company operating in the 4G Mobile Internet industry, and EI Towers, a leader in Italy in the operation of infrastructures used in radio and television broadcasting and in delivering telecommunications services, signed a site lease agreement of three years.

The agreement, which has a strong industrial value thanks to the integration of GO's wireless network with EI Towers' infrastructures, will grant GO access to strategic sites, thus allowing the company to extend its coverage and strengthen its LTE network, as well as increase its active customer base in both urban areas and digital divide regions.

The agreement grants GO a growing technological ability to expand its coverage in the regions where it operates.

The coverage increase, as well as the strengthening of the LTE network, will foster a strong commercial development, allowing us to extend our presence and reach an important number of potential customers in the Marche and Emilia Romagna Regions where GO internet has an exclusive right of use of the frequencies for Broadband Wireless Access systems in the 3.5 Ghz band" said Alessandro Ronchi, Chief Financial Officer of GO internet.
