Bologna, 29 gennaio 2015 – Datalogic S.p.A. (Borsa Italiana S.p.A.: DAL), società quotata presso il Mercato Telematico Azionario – Segmento Star – organizzato e gestito da Borsa Italiana S.p.A. ("Datalogic") e leader mondiale nei settori dell'acquisizione automatica dei dati e dell'automazione industriale e produttore di lettori di codici a barre, mobile computer, sensori per la rilevazione, misura e sicurezza, sistemi di visione e marcatura laser, annuncia i dati dei ricavi di vendita preliminari del quarto trimestre 2015.
Il Presidente e Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo Datalogic, Romano Volta, ha così commentato: "Siamo molto soddisfatti dei ricavi conseguiti nell'ultimo trimestre e nell'intero esercizio 2015, che evidenziano un andamento superiore a quello di mercato e in linea con le aspettative. In particolare continua la crescita a tassi sostenuti della Divisione ADC grazie al lancio di nuovi prodotti nel segmento degli scanner fissi e dei lettori manuali, che hanno un andamento molto positivo sul mercato americano e quello asiatico. La Divisione Industrial Automation conferma la ripresa in tutti i segmenti di riferimento ed in tutte le aree geografiche con una forte ripresa in Nord America".
I ricavi preliminari delle vendite del quarto trimestre 2015 si attestano a 143,8 milioni di Euro con una crescita del 15,5% rispetto al quarto trimestre 2014 (a cambi costanti i ricavi si sarebbero attestati a 134,8 milioni di Euro, +8,3%).
Il booking nel corso del trimestre – gli ordini già acquisiti – è stato pari a 158,2 milioni di Euro, in crescita del 21,3% rispetto al quarto trimestre 2014.
La Divisione ADC (Automatic Data Capture) specializzata nella produzione di lettori di codici a barre fissi per il mercato retail, di lettori manuali e di mobile computer ad uso professionale, ha registrato un fatturato di 96,2 milioni di Euro in crescita del 15,7% (+8,5% a cambi costanti) rispetto al quarto trimestre 2014. L'andamento positivo è dovuto alla vincita d'importanti progetti di scanner da banco e lettori manuali in ambito Retail principalmente in Nord America.
La Divisione Industrial Automation specializzata nella produzione di sistemi di identificazione automatica, sicurezza, rilevazione e marcatura per il mercato dell'Automazione Industriale, ha registrato un fatturato di 42,7 milioni di Euro, evidenziando una crescita del 21,3% rispetto al quarto trimestre 2014 (+14,9% a
cambi costanti). La divisione beneficia anche dell'esecuzione di una prima tranche dell'ordine di Royal Mail per un importo pari a circa 4,2 milioni di Euro da parte della Business Unit Systems. Al netto della Business Unit Systems i ricavi della divisione sono aumentati dell'11,7% a 35,0 milioni di Euro (+6,6% a cambi costanti) grazie ad una crescita a doppia cifra nel T&L in Nord America e nel Factory Automation in APAC.
Sui dodici mesi i ricavi preliminari delle vendite riflettono il progressivo miglioramento ottenuto da tutte le divisioni nel quarto trimestre e si attestano a 535,1 milioni di Euro, con una crescita del 15,2% rispetto ai 464,5 milioni di Euro dei primi dodici mesi del 2014 (+5,9% a cambi costanti). Il booking ha raggiunto 563,3 milioni di Euro, in crescita del 17,6% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2014.
I risultati dell'esercizio 2015 verranno approvati nel prossimo Consiglio di Amministrazione che si terrà in data 4 marzo 2016.

The Chairman and CEO of the Datalogic Group, Romano Volta, commented: "We are very pleased with the revenues registered in the last quarter and indeed in the whole fiscal year 2015, which highlight a better performance than the market trend, very much in line with expectations. In particular, the substantial growth rate of the ADC Division continued thanks to the launch of new products in the fixed scanners and hand-held readers sector that are enjoying a very positive trend in the American and Asian markets. The Industrial Automation Division confirmed its recovery in all reference segments and in all geographic areas with a strong recovery in North America".
Preliminary sales revenues for the fourth quarter of 2015 came in at 143.8 million Euro, with a growth of 15.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014 (at constant exchange rates, revenues would have been amounted to 134.8 million Euro, +8.3%).
The booking during the quarter – the orders already received - were equal to 158.2 million Euro, +21.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014.
The ADC Division (Automatic Data Capture), specialized in the design and production of fixed retail scanners, professional handheld readers and mobile computers, registered revenues of 96.2 million Euro up by +15.7% (+8.5% at constant exchange rates) compared to the fourth quarter of 2014. The positive trend is due to important projects won in fixed retail scanners and hand-held readers in the Retail sector mainly in North America.
The Industrial Automation Division specialized in the design and production of automatic identification systems, safety, detection and marking solutions for the Industrial Automation market, registered revenues of 42.7 million Euro, showing a growth of 21.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014 (+14.9% at constant exchange rates). The division also benefited from the execution of the first part of an order from Royal Mail by the Systems Business Unit, worth approximately 4.2 million Euro. Net of the
results of the Systems Business Unit, the revenues of the division increased by 11.7% to 35.0 million Euro (+6.6% at constant exchange rates) thanks to a double-figure growth in the T&L in North America and in the Factory Automation in APAC.
Preliminary sales revenues for FY2015 reflect the gradual improvement achieved by all the divisions in the fourth quarter, and came in at 535.1 million Euro, with a growth of +15.2% compared to 464.5 million Euro in the first twelve months of 2014 (+5.9% at constant exchange rates). The booking reached 563.3 million Euro, with a growth of +17.6% compared to the same period of 2014.
The 2015 Group's results will be approved during the next meeting of the Board of Directors, which will be held on March 4th, 2016.
