POSTE ITALIANE: THE SLATES FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE BOARD OF STATUTORY AUDITORS AND THE CANDIDACIES FOR THE COMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS BEEN FILED

Rome, April 29, 2016 - Poste Italiane S.p.A. ("Poste Italiane") informs that the shareholders mentioned below have filed, within the terms set forth by applicable laws, two slates of candidates for the office of Statutory Auditors of Poste Italiane, in view of the renewal of the Company's Board of Statutory Auditors (whose term is expiring) put on the agenda at the Shareholders' Meeting convened on next May 24, 2016 in a single call.

• Slate no. 1 file by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, which owns approximately 64.70% of Poste Italiane's share capital, is composed of the following candidates: Regular Statutory Auditors:
• 1. Maurizio Bastoni;
• 1. Alessia Bastiani.

Alternate Statutory Auditors:

• 1. Marina Colletta;
• 1. Ermanno Sgaravato.
• Slate no. 2 file by a group of 14 mutual funds and other institutional investors $^{(1)}$ , which together own approximatley 1.386% of Poste Italiane's share capital, is composed of the following candidates:

Regular Statutory Auditors:

• 1. Mauro Lonardo:
• 1. Paola Carrara.

Alternate Statutory Auditors:

• 1. Andrea Bonechi:
• 1. Donatella Busso.

The slates for the renewal of the Board of Statutory Auditors and the relevant accompanying documentation will be made publicly available by the deadline provided by the law at the Company's headquarters, on the Borsa Italiana S.p.A. website (www.borsaitaliana.it), as well as at the authorized storage mechanism "NIS-Storage" () and on the Company's website (www.posteitaliane.it).

Poste Italiane also informs that today the candidacies of Giovanni Azzone and Mimi Kung for the office of director of the Company have been submitted by same group of mutual funds and other institutional investors above mentioned, in view of the complementation of the composition of the Board of Directors put on the agenda of the said Shareholders' Meeting of May 24, 2016.

The professional profiles of Giovanni Azzone and Mimi Kung, as well as the statements of the latters accepting their candidacies and certifying that they meet the requirements provided for the office, are available on the Company's website (www.posteitaliane.it).
