Rome, 26 May 2016 – The new Board of Directors of FINCANTIERI S.p.A. ("Fincantieri" or the "Company"), appointed by the Shareholders' Meeting held on 19 May 2016 and which will remain in office until the Meeting for the approval of the 2018 financial statements, met today in Rome under the chairmanship of Giampiero Massolo.
The Board of Directors confirmed Giuseppe Bono as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
The Chairman Giampiero Massolo has been granted the following powers: institutional representation, contribution to international strategies, internal control and security.
The Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe Bono has been granted extensive powers for the ordinary and extraordinary management of the Company, except for those reserved to the Board's exclusive jurisdiction.
Notice is hereby given that, as of today, Mr. Bono and Mr. Palermo hold respectively 84,000 and 22,000 Fincantieri ordinary shares. None of the other Directors currently hold Fincantieri ordinary shares.
