MONDO TV raggiunge un'intesa con la società di Hong Kong Nine Hong Technology per l'acquisto da parte di quest'ultima di una quota parte dei diritti di sfruttamento dei progetti che Mondo TV produrrà con il gruppo Henan York Animation, di cui il primo sulla nuova property "The Rowly Powlys"

Poiché il corrispettivo totale per l'acquisto è pari a USD 19.9 milioni, il contratto si presenta come uno dei più rilevanti per la Mondo TV

Nine Hong Technology si occuperà inoltre della distribuzione per cinque anni delle nuove serie in Cina

L'intesa costituisce un altro importante passo per il conseguimento dei risultati previsti dal business plan al 2020

21 ottobre 2016 – A pochi giorni dalla sottoscrizione dell'accordo con il gruppo Henan York Animation per la realizzazione di tre nuovi progetti di animazione di alta qualità da sviluppare con la tecnica 3D CGI di cui il primo avrà ad oggetto la nuova property in fase di sviluppo denominata "The Rowly Powlys" (cfr comunicato stampa del 18 ottobre 2016), Mondo TV comunica oggi di aver raggiunto un'intesa con la società Hong Kong Nine Hong Technology Limited, società avente sede a Hong Kong, per l'acquisto da parte della medesima società di una quota pari al 70% dei diritti di sfruttamento di detto progetto e degli altri due progetti (che nell'intenzione delle parti dovrebbero riguardare ulteriori stagioni di "The Rowly Powlys") per la Cina e del 10% dei diritti di sfruttamento nel resto del mondo. Nine Hong Technology inoltre si occuperà della distribuzione in Cina per un periodo di cinque anni delle due serie.

Il corrispettivo che sarà pagato nel corso di realizzazione delle serie (la cui conclusione è prevista entro il 2020) da Nine Hong Technology alla Mondo TV per l'acquisto dei suddetti diritti è pari a circa 6,6 milioni di dollari per ciascuna serie per un totale di USD 19,9 milioni. Per corrispettivo l'accordo rappresenta uno dei contratti più rilevanti della Mondo TV.

L'intesa costituisce una importante prevendita dei diritti connessi con il nuovo progetto e consente in larga parte la copertura della parte di budget di produzione dei progetti incombente su Mondo TV.

MONDO TV executed an agreement with the Hong Kong based company Nine Hong Technology for the acquisition by the latter of a share of the rights on the three new projects, which are being produced by Mondo TV with Henan York Animation, the first of which will be "The Rowly Powlys"

The total consideration will amount to 19.9 million USD

Nine Hong Technology will also take care of the distribution of the new series for five years in China

The agreement is an important further step towards the accomplishment of the estimation included in the business plan as to 2020

21 October 2016 – Within few days from the execution of the agreement with Henan York group for the realization of three new high quality animation projects to be developed with the 3D CGI technique, the first of which will be based on the new property named "The Rowly Powlys" (see the press release dated 18 October 2016), Mondo TV informs today to have reached an agreement with the company Hong Kong Nine Hong Technology Limited, based in Hong Kong, for the acquisition by the latter of 70% of the exploitation rights on such projects and the further two new series (which in the intention of the parties shall be constituted by two more seasons of "The Rowly Powlys") in China, and 10% of the exploitation rights in the rest of the world. Nine Hong Technology will also take care of the distribution of the three series for five years in China.

The consideration to be paid by Nine Hong Technology to Mondo TV along the production of the three series (whose conclusion shall be within the year 2020) for the acquisition of the above rights will be around 6.6 million USD for each project, totaling USD 19.9 million.

The agreement represents an important pre-sale of the rights connected with the new projects and covers a larger part of the production budget to be borne by Mondo TV.

The agreement is also an important further step towards the accomplishment of the estimation included in the business plan as to 2020.
