• Ricavi preliminari di vendita in crescita del 4,6% a 139,9 milioni di Euro nel terzo trimestre 2016 rispetto a 133,8 milioni di Euro nel terzo trimestre 2015
• Nei nove mesi, i ricavi preliminari di vendita si attestano a 421,8 milioni di Euro in aumento del 7,8% rispetto all'anno precedente

Bologna, 24 Ottobre 2016 - Datalogic S.p.A. (Borsa Italiana S.p.A.: DAL), società quotata presso il Mercato Telematico Azionario – Segmento Star – organizzato e gestito da Borsa Italiana S.p.A. ("Datalogic") e leader mondiale nei settori dell'acquisizione automatica dei dati e dell'automazione industriale e produttore di lettori di codici a barre, mobile computer, sensori per la rilevazione, misura e sicurezza, sistemi di visione e marcatura laser, annuncia i dati dei ricavi di vendita preliminari del terzo trimestre 2016.

Il Presidente e Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo Datalogic, Romano Volta, ha così commentato: "I ricavi preliminari del terzo trimestre dell'anno convalidano un andamento positivo del Gruppo nonostante l'effetto di stagionalità che caratterizza questo periodo dell'anno e le incognite presenti a livello politico negli Stati Uniti e in Europa. In particolare la Divisione ADC continua ad evidenziare una crescita sostenuta degli scanner da banco e dei mobile computer. La Divisione Industrial Automation beneficia di una crescita oltre le attese in Europa ma risente di un andamento riflessivo nel mercato americano. Il tradizionale andamento positivo dell'ultimo trimestre dell'anno ci rende confidenti sulla chiusura dell'anno in linea con il trend di crescita dei primi nove mesi".

I ricavi preliminari delle vendite del terzo trimestre 2016 si attestano a 139,9 milioni di Euro con una crescita del 4,6% rispetto al terzo trimestre 2015 (+4,8% a cambi costanti) e una contrazione del 4,5% rispetto al secondo trimestre 2016.

Il booking nel corso del trimestre – gli ordini già acquisiti – è stato pari a 138,1 milioni di Euro, in crescita del 3,5% rispetto al terzo trimestre 2015.

La Divisione ADC (Automatic Data Capture) specializzata nella produzione di lettori di codici a barre fissi per il mercato retail, di lettori manuali e di mobile computer ad uso professionale, ha registrato un fatturato di 97,9 milioni di Euro in crescita dell'8,4% (+8,6% a cambi costanti) rispetto al terzo trimestre 2015. L'andamento è risultato particolarmente positivo sia in Europa che in Nord America.

La Divisione Industrial Automation specializzata nella produzione di sistemi di identificazione automatica, sicurezza, rilevazione e marcatura per il mercato dell'Automazione Industriale, ha registrato un fatturato

di 37,2 milioni di Euro, evidenziando una leggera crescita rispetto al terzo trimestre 2015, comprensivo dei ricavi della Business Unit Systems. Quest'ultima, oggetto di spin off dal primo ottobre, beneficia, tra gli altri, dell'ordine ricevuto da Royal Mail, e ha evidenziato una crescita dei ricavi del 19,9% a 3,8 milioni di Euro (+20,5% a cambi costanti).

Nei nove mesi i ricavi preliminari delle vendite si attestano a 421,8 milioni di Euro, con una crescita del 7,8% rispetto ai 391,3 milioni di Euro dei primi nove mesi 2015 (+7,9% a cambi costanti). Il booking ha raggiunto 426,2 milioni di Euro, in crescita del 5,2% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2015.

I risultati del terzo trimestre 2016 verranno approvati nel prossimo Consiglio di Amministrazione che si terrà in data 11 novembre 2016.

("Datalogic"), a global leader in Automatic Data Capture and Industrial Automation markets, and world-class producer of bar code readers, mobile computers, sensors for detection, measurement and safety, vision systems and laser marking equipment, announced today its preliminary revenues for the third quarter of 2016.

The Chairman and CEO of the Datalogic Group, Romano Volta, commented: "Preliminary revenues for the third quarter confirm a positive Group performance, despite the seasonal effect that characterises this period of the year and despite the political unknowns in the United States and Europe. In particular, the ADC Division continues to report growth, aided by fixed retail scanners and mobile computer sales. The Industrial Automation Division benefited from growth beyond expectations in Europe, but was affected by a reflective performance on the US market. The traditional positive performance of the last quarter of the year makes us confident that the close of the year will be in line with the growth trend for the first nine months".

Preliminary sales revenues in the third quarter of 2016 came in at 139.9 million Euro with a growth of 4.6% compared to the third quarter of 2015 (+4.8% at constant exchange rates) and down by 4.5% compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Booking during the quarter - orders already received – amounted to 138.1 million Euro, +3.5% compared to third quarter 2015.

The ADC Division (Automatic Data Capture), specialized in the design and production of fixed retail scanners, professional handheld readers and mobile computers, registered revenues of 97.9 million Euro with a growth of 8.4% (+8.6% at constant exchange rates) compared to the third quarter of 2015. The trend was particularly positive both in Europe as well as in North America.

The Industrial Automation Division specialized in the design and production of automatic identification systems, safety, detection and marking solutions for the Industrial Automation market, registered revenues of 37.2 million Euro a slight increase compared to the third quarter of 2015, including Business Unit Systems revenues. The latter, spun off from 1st October, benefited, among the other, from the order received from Royal Mail and reported a 19.9% growth in revenues to 3.8 million Euro (+20.5% at constant

exchange rates).

For the first nine months of the year, preliminary sales revenues came in at 421.8 million Euro, with a growth of 7.8% compared to 391.3 million Euro in the first nine months of 2015 (+7.9% at constant exchange rates). The booking reached 426.2 million Euro, with a growth of 5.2% compared to the same period of 2015.

The Group's results of the third quarter of 2016 will be approved by Datalogic's Board of Directors on November 11th, 2016.
