Mondo TV sottoscrive un accordo di licenza con ABS Media Services Private Limited per lo sfruttamento di circa 800 ore di programmi animati della library cosiddetta classica della Mondo TV in India

Il corrispettivo di licenza che sarà pagato alla Mondo TV in diverse tranche è pari a USD 650.000

Matteo Corradi, amministratore delegato della Mondo TV, ha dichiarato: "Si tratta del primo accordo di ampia portata relativo alla library classica nella regione indiana, mercato che si attende in crescita nei prossimi anni e nel quale si confida di poter sviluppare il licensing sui prodotti del Gruppo"

26 ottobre 2016 – Mondo TV annuncia di aver sottoscritto un nuovo contratto con la società ABS Media Services Private Limited, società indiana con sede a Mumbai, per la licenza dei diritti di trasmissione televisiva di circa 800 ore di programmazione animata tratta dalla library cosiddetta classica già esistente della Mondo TV.

La licenza si estende ai diritti televisivi c.d. free e pay, oltre che ad altre piattaforme digitali e ai diritti home video nei territori dell'India, Pakistan, Nepal e Bangladesh. Il periodo di licenza è di 6 anni dalla consegna dei materiali dei programmi animati licenziati, prevista in più tranche nell'arco di due anni a partire dal mese di novembre 2016. Il corrispettivo di licenza, fisso e determinato in misura di USD 650.000, sarà pagato da ABS alla Mondo TV in più tranche nell'arco dei prossimi 3 anni, seguendo le consegne dei materiali per i primi due anni; il corrispettivo residuo previsto in pagamento nel terzo anno sarà garantito da garanzia bancaria da rilasciarsi in corso di esecuzione e comunque prima della consegna di tutti i materiali.

Si rammenta che poiché l'accordo riguarda la library già prodotta e in larga parte già completamente ammortizzata, il corrispettivo avrà un effetto positivo altresì in termini di margine per la Società nei prossimi tre anni.

Mondo TV executed a license agreement with ABS Media Services Private Limited for the exploitation of around 800 hours of animated programs of the so called classic library of Mondo TV in India

The consideration for the license, which will be paid by Mondo TV in various tranches, is equal to USD 650,000

26 October 2016: Mondo TV announced that it has signed a new contract with the company ABS Media Services Private Limited, an Indian company based in Mumbai, for the licensing of TV rights to around 800 hours of animated programs of the Mondo TV existing, so-called classical library.

The license includes the free and pay television rights, as well as the exploitation rights to other digital platforms and home video rights in the territories of India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. The license period is 6 years upon delivery of the materials of the licensed animated programs: deliveries are to be performed in several tranches over two years starting from November 2016. The license fee, fixed and determined in USD 650,000, will be paid by ABS to Mondo TV in several tranches over the next three years: in the first two years payments will follow the delivery of materials, while the remaining amount, expected to be paid in the third year, will be secured by a bank guarantee to be issued in course of execution of the agreement, and before the delivery of all materials.

It is recalled that since the agreement relates to the library already produced and mostly already fully depreciated, the consideration will have a positive effect also in terms of margin for the Company in the next three years.
