MOODY'S CONFIRMS ITS "BAA2" LONG-TERM RATING OF POSTE AND CHANGES ITS OUTLOOK FROM "STABLE" TO "NEGATIVE", IN LINE WITH RATING OF ITALIAN SOVEREIGN DEBT

Rome, December 12, 2016 – Moody's rating agency, consequently to the downgrade in the outlook for the Italian Republic's sovereign debt rating from stable to negative announced on last 7 December, informed that it has changed its outlook for Poste Italiane S.p.A. from stable to negative and confirmed its "Baa2" long-term rating, also thanks to the Company's solid asset and financial structure.

As is customary, the change in the Company's outlook is linked to the close correlation that exists between its rating and Italy's credit rating.
