FINCANTIERI: INTERIM FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND CALENDAR OF CORPORATE EVENTS FOR 2017

Rome, December 15, 2016 – The Board of Directors of FINCANTIERI S.p.A. ("Fincantieri" or the "Company"), convened today under the chairmanship of Giampiero Massolo, has approved, following Consob resolution n. 19970 of October 26th 2016, the policy of publication of interim financial information of the Company for the first quarter and the first nine months of each year, with the goal of ensuring continuity with previous financial disclosures. Such publications will describe the business performance focusing on the most relevant financial information.

The informative set included in the above mentioned publications will include the following Group's quantitative key performance indicators, which are elaborated consistently with those provided in the annual and half-year reports:

• Key economic data: Revenue and income, EBITDA, EBITDA margin (Group and segment breakdown)
• Key balance sheet data: Net fixed assets, Net working capital, Equity, Net financial position (Group, including a detailed breakdown of the Net working capital)
• Other indicators: Orders, Backlog, Capex, Completed and scheduled ship deliveries (Group and segment breakdown)

The interim financial information may also contain, when necessary, additional qualitative and quantitative information, aimed at providing a better representation of the evolution of the business.

The aforementioned financial information will be approved by the Board of Directors and published by means of a press release within 45 days from each period's end.

The annual calendar of corporate events for 2017, approved today, provides for the following time-line:

March 30, 2017:	Board of Directors' meeting for the approval of the Consolidated financial statements and draft financial statements of FINCANTIERI S.p.A. at December 31, 2016
May 11, 2017:	Board of Directors' meeting for the approval of the interim financial information for the first quarter of 2017
Between May 15 and 19, 2017:	Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the approval of the financial statements of FINCANTIERI S.p.A. at December 31, 2016
July 20, 2017:	Board of Directors' meeting for the Half-year financial report at June 30, 2017
November 9, 2017:	Board of Directors' meeting for the approval of the interim financial information for the first nine months of 2017

The conference calls related to the approval of interim financial results and interim financial information will be held either on the same day or on the day following the approval by the Board of Directors. The details regarding each conference call will be communicated in due time.

The calendar of corporate events for 2017 is available online at www.fincantieri.com.

The market will be promptly notified of any amendments to the above calendar.
