Effects of the Council of State decision issued today concerning the SPC (network and connectivity services) tender

March 24, 2017 - Tiscali and Fastweb positively welcome the rejection rules by the Council of State of the appeal against the adjudication - in favour of Tiscali - of the framework agreement for network and connectivity services (SPC) to the public administration, which is the final solution to the uncertainties concerning the lawfulness of the tender.

By virtue of the agreement, with which Tiscali transferred the company branch Tiscali Business, that includes the same SPC agreement in addition to the clients belonging to Tiscali Top Client segment, Fastweb will pay Tiscali the second and final tranche of the payment for the acquisition of the business branch, amounting to €32.5 million, €20 million cash and €12.5 million in connectivity services.

Following the transfer - which had already been approved by CONSIP - it will be Fastweb to provide connectivity services, both to the administrations which are already clients and. with the signature of new agreements. with local and central public administrations.
