La serie Sissi, la Giovane Imperatrice venduta in Germania

Maxdome, del gruppo ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, primario gruppo radiotelevisivo tedesco, acquista la licenza per lo sfruttamento on-line in territori di lingua tedesca della seria Sissi, la giovane imperatrice

L'accordo risulta importante per i piani di sviluppo del licensing in un'area e un mercato di difficile penetrazione per la Mondo TV

30 marzo 2017 – Mondo TV annuncia che maxdome GmbH, società che gestisce i diritti on-line per il primario gruppo radiotelevisivo tedesco ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, ha acquistato una licenza per la trasmissione in Germania, Austria, Alto Adige, Svizzera, Lussemburgo e Liechtenstein della serie Sissi, la Giovane Imperatrice. La licenza avrà durata di 2 anni a partire dalla prima messa in onda della serie in uno dei paesi sopra menzionati, o comunque dal 31 dicembre 2017 (31 dicembre 2018 in relazione alla seconda serie) e prevede il diritto di diffusione in tedesco nel territorio assegnato.

Si tratta della prima vendita al gruppo tedesco ProSieben.

L'accordo, che prevede il pagamento di un license fee oltre che di royalties derivanti dalle vendite on-line, risulta particolarmente importante per i piani di sviluppo del licensing legato al brand Sissi in un'area geografica e un mercato storicamente di difficile penetrazione per il gruppo Mondo TV.

Sissi, the young Empress sold in Germany

Maxdome, part of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, leading German radio and TV broadcaster, acquired the license for the on-line exploitation in certain Germanspeaking territories of the series Sissi, the young empress

The agreement is important for the development of licensing plans in an area and market which Mondo TV group had difficulties to penetrate in its history

30 March 2017: Mondo TV informed that maxdome GmbH, the company manging the on-line rights for the leading German radio and TV broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, ("ORF"), the Austrian national public service broadcaster, acquired a license for the diffusion in Germany, Austria, South-Tyrol, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein of the series Sissi, the young Empress. The license shall have a 2 years duration starting from the first free-to-air broadcast in any above territory, or no later than 31 December 2017 (31 December 2018 for the second season) and provides for the right to on-line diffusion in German in the assigned territory.

This is the first sale for Mondo TV to the German group ProSieben.

The agreement, which sets forth a flat license fee and royalties based on the on-line sales of the series, results particularly important for the development plans of the licensing derived from Sissi in a geographical area and a market, which Mondo TV group had difficulties to penetrate in its history.
