FITCH MODIFIES POSTE ITALIANE'S RATING FROM "BBB+" TO "BBB", OUTLOOK STABLE

Rome, May 8, 2017 – Today, as expected, Fitch Ratings has downgraded by one notch Poste Italiane, moving its rating from BBB+ to BBB; the outllook has been shifted from "negative" to "stable". This action mirrors the downgrade of the Republic of Italy from BBB+ to BBB decided by Fitch on April 21st 2017.
