PIAGGIO GROUP: 5-YEAR BOND ISSUED WITH SACE FOR TOTAL AMOUNT OF 30 MILLION EURO

The bond is intended for institutional investors and will support the Piaggio Group's international growth

Milan, 03 July 2017 – Further to its previous statement on 3 May, the Piaggio Group said it had issued a long-term bond for a total amount of 30 million euro, underwritten by Fondo Sviluppo Export, a fund initiated by SACE (CDP Group) and managed by Amundi SGR.

The five-year bond will consolidate the Piaggio Group's international growth and support its expansion on to new markets. It is part of the on-going action to optimise the Group's debt structure by extending maturity.

The issue, intended for institutional investors, is underwritten with the assistance of UnicCredit as Placement Agent by Fondo Sviluppo Export, with recourse to the funds made available for Italian exporters by SACE, and is guaranteed in full by SACE.
