Concluso un nuovo accordo di licensing su Robot Trains: prosegue lo sviluppo dei piani licensing della nuova property

L'ulteriore contratto sottoscritto con Kimbe S.r.l. per lo sviluppo di aventi legati alla property

3 agosto 2017 – Mondo TV, uno dei più grandi produttori e distributori europei di programmi animati, comunica di aver raggiunto ancora un nuovo accordo per la concessione di alcuni diritti licensing connessi alla property Robot Trains, di proprietà di CJ E&M, società di contenuti e marketing coreana, e di cui Mondo TV è distributore e, quanto alla seconda stagione, anche coproduttore.

Si tratta in questo caso di una licenza concessa a Kimbe S.r.l., società con sede a Melzo (MI) in relazione alla realizzazione di eventi e attrazioni da realizzarsi in Italia nel periodo dal 1 gennaio 2018 al 1 marzo 2020.

L'accordo prevede il pagamento di un minimo garantito, in sé non significativo, e il pagamento di royalties in caso di superamento di tale importo. Si rammenta che parte dei suddetti importi (sia minimi garantiti che royalties) andranno ritornati a CJ E&M quale titolare della property, potendo la Mondo TV trattenere il 30% degli stessi. Al di là del dato economico, l'accordo rappresenta la conferma della ottima partenza del piano di sfruttamento licensing di Robot Trains da cui si attendono risultati interessanti per la Mondo TV già a partire dal 2017, e potrà dare una maggiore visibilità alla property nella fase di lancio della stessa.

New deal for the licensing of Robot Trains: the licensing pland on the new property are moving forward

The deal was entered into by Mondo TV with Kimbe S.r.l. for the development of events connected with the property

3 August 2017: Mondo TV, one of the largest European producers and distributors of animated programs, announces to have reached one more new agreement for the granting of certain licensing rights related to the property Robot Trains. Robot Trains is a orioerty owned by the Korean content and marketing company, CJ E&M, and on which Mondo TV is involved as distributor, and as co-producer on the second season of the series.

In this case, Mondo TV granted to Kimbe S.r.l., a company based in Melzo (MI) a license in relation to the realization of events and attractions in Italy in the period from 1 January 2018 up to 1 March 2020.

The agreement provides for the payment of a minimum guarantee, in itself not particular significant, and payment of royalties in case of overages above of the aforementioned minimum guarantee. It is recalled that part of these amounts (both minimum guarantees and royalties) will be returned to CJ E & M as the owner of the property, Mondo TV withholding 30% of the same. Apart from the economic data, the agreement represents the confirmation of the very good start of the licensing exploitation plan for Robot Trains from which interesting results are expected for Mondo TV already along 2017, and it gives the chance to increase the visibility of the property during its launch on the market.
