San Donato Milanese (Milano), 31 Agosto 2017 – Saipem ha acquisito da Eni Angola S.p.A. ordini di lavoro aggiuntivi relativi al progetto West Hub Development, a complemento di quelli precedentemente assegnati nel corso del 2016 e del 2017. Le attività, che verranno realizzate dalla divisione E&C Offshore, prevedono la costruzione e la successiva installazione, in acque profonde, di Umbilicals, Risers e Flowlines (Deep Water SURF) necessari allo sviluppo del Blocco 15/06, situato a 350 km a nord ovest di Luanda e a 130 km a ovest di Soyo.
Saipem ha inoltre acquisito da Eni Ghana Exploration & Production Ltd., nell'ambito delle attività di Maintenance, Modifications ed Operations (MMO) che fanno capo sempre alla divisione E&C Offshore, un contratto relativo all'ingegneria, il procurement e la costruzione delle infrastrutture necessarie ad aumentare la capacità delle stazioni di gas situate presso i porti di Takoradi e Tema in Ghana.
Tra le nuove acquisizioni, infine, anche un contratto assegnato dal Nord Stream 2 AG per la realizzazione dell'ultimo tratto della relativa pipeline che attraversa il Mar Baltico e del suo approdo a terra a Greiswald in Germania.
Il valore complessivo delle suindicate acquisizioni è di circa 370 milioni di USD

San Donato Milanese (Milan), August 31, 2017 – Eni Angola S.p.A. has awarded Saipem work orders in relation to the West Hub Development project as an addition to those previously assigned during 2016 and 2017. The work, which will be performed by the E&C Offshore division, encompasses the construction and subsequent installation in deep waters of umbilicals, risers and flowlines (Deep Water SURF) required for the development of Block 15/06, located 350 km north west of Luanda and 130 km west of Soyo.
Furthermore, in the framework of its Maintenance, Modifications and Operations (MMO) activities, once again in the Offshore E&C sector, Saipem has acquired from Eni Ghana Exploration & Production Ltd. a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of the infrastructures needed to boost the capacity of the gas stations situated in the vicinity of the ports of Takoradi and Tema in Ghana.
Finally, among the new acquisitions a contract has been assigned by Nord Stream 2 AG for the construction of the last section of the pipeline crossing the Baltic Sea and the shore approach in Greiswald, Germany.
The combined value of the above-mentioned new contracts is approximately USD 370 million.
