POSTE ITALIANE: STANDARD & POOR'S RAISES RATING TO 'BBB'

Short-term debt rating raised to 'A-2', with a stable outlook

Rome, 31 October 2017 – Poste Italiane is pleased to announce that Standard & Poor's has raised its Long-Term Rating for the company from 'BBB-' to 'BBB' with a stable outlook. The improved assessment of Poste Italiane's financial solidity and reliability mirrors the change in the overall outlook on Italy's debt announced on 27 October. At the same time Standard & Poor's analysts also raised their Short-Term Ratings on Poste Italiane from 'A-3' to 'A-2'.
