Saipem si aggiudica nuovi contratti E&C Onshore in Arabia Saudita e in Messico e lavori aggiuntivi su contratti esistenti in Arabia Saudita e in Kazakhstan per un valore complessivo di circa 1 miliardo di USD
San Donato Milanese (MI), 16 novembre 2017 – Saipem si aggiudica un nuovo contratto E&C Onshore per le attività di ingegneria, approvvigionamento, costruzione e commissioning inerenti il progetto "Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) Expansion Project" relativo all'ampliamento dell'impianto di trattamento di gas di Hawiyah, situato nel sud-est della Penisola Arabica, che rientra nei piani di sviluppo per soddisfare il fabbisogno energetico nazionale.
Il contratto è stato assegnato da Saudi Arabian Oil Company (SAUDI ARAMCO).
Lo scopo del lavoro comprende, tra le principali attività, la realizzazione di due unità per il trattamento del gas naturale, unità per la spedizione del gas e le utilities di supporto associate.
Gli ulteriori contratti acquisiti riguardano attività di ingegneria, approvvigionamento, costruzione, commissioning e avvio di un'unità della raffineria "General Lazaro Cardenas" del Minatitlan, nella parte orientale del Messico, di cinque unità della raffineria "Francesco I" situata a Madero e di un'unità della raffineria "Miguel Hidalgo" situata a Tula de Hallende.
I contratti sono stati assegnati da Pemex Transformación Industrial, società controllata dalla compagnia petrolifera nazionale Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX).
Sono stati inoltre assegnati lavori aggiuntivi relativi a progetti precedentemente acquisiti nel segmento E&C Onshore in Arabia Saudita e in Kazakhstan.
Il valore complessivo di tali nuove commesse ammonta a circa 1 miliardo di USD.

Saipem awarded new Onshore E&C contracts in Saudi Arabia and Mexico and additional works of existing contracts in Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan for a total value of approximately 1 billion USD
San Donato Milanese (MI), November 16, 2017 – Saipem has been awarded a new contract in Onshore E&C. Activities involve engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the "Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) Expansion Project" located in the south-east of the Arabian Peninsula, which is part of the development plans to meet the country's energy needs.
The contract was awarded by Saudi Arabian Oil Company (SAUDI ARAMCO).
The scope of work includes, among the main activities, the construction of two natural gas treatment units, gas dispatch units and associated utility systems.
The other contracts involve engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning and the start up of a unit for the "General Lazaro Cardenas" refinery in Minatitlan, in eastern Mexico, of five units of the "Francesco I" refinery located in Madero and a unit of the "Miguel Hidalgo" refinery located in Tula de Hallende.
The contracts were awarded by Pemex Transformación Industrial, a subsidiary of the national oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX).
Saipem was also awarded additional works regarding previously acquired projects in the Onshore E&C sector in Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.
The total value of these new awards is approximately 1 billion USD.
