Mondo TV sottoscrive una nuova licenza per lo sfruttamento in tutto il mondo dei propri prodotti su You Tube con l'aggregatore Grupa BB Media LTD

Il corrispettivo di licenza pari a circa 400.000 Euro, che costituisce quasi tutto EBIT per Mondo TV trattandosi di prodotti della library classica, sarà contabilizzato integralmente già nel 2017

7 dicembre 2017 – Mondo TV S.p.A. annuncia di aver sottoscritto con Grupa BB Media Ltd., società con sede a Dublino in Irlanda, e importante aggregatore di contenuti per lo sfruttamento sulla piattaforma web "You Tube", un'intesa per la concessione di una licenza a quest'ultima dei diritti di sfruttamento dei prodotti animati della library Mondo TV sulla piattaforma You Tube. La licenza avrà durata fino al 31 dicembre 2023 e sarà concessa per tutto il mondo (salvo alcune esclusioni per tenere conto delle licenze già concluse da Mondo TV con altri aggregatori).

Sotto il profilo economico l'intesa prevede il pagamento di una flat fee pari a circa euro 400 mila che sarà pagata durante la durata del contratto ma che sarà contabilizzata già nel 2017 in quanto la consegna di tutti i materiali relativi ai prodotti licenziati verrà completata entro l'anno.

"Questo contratto è molto importante per la Mondo TV" ha dichiarato Matteo Corradi, amministratore delegato della Mondo TV S.p.A. "perché consentirà uno sfruttamento amplissimo e strutturato della nostra ricca library su You Tube con una esposizione importante dei nostri prodotti e rappresenta il giusto premio del lavoro svolto nel campo dei New Media dalla Società; presenta inoltra marginalità molto elevate in quanto relativa a prodotti della library classica quasi interamente ammortizzati".

Mondo TV executes a preliminary understanding for the exploitation worldwide of its products on Youtube with the aggregator Media Distribution Worldwide

The license fee of around € 400,000, which goes almost all to EBIT for Mondo TV as the license relates to products of the classic library, will be fully accounted in 2017

7 December 2017: Mondo TV informs to have executed with Media Distribution Worldwide Ltd., a company based in Coventry, United Kingdom, and important aggregator of content for their exploitation on the web platform "You Tube", a preliminary understanding for the license to the latter of the exploitation rights on Mondo TV's library program on You Tube. The license will elapse on 31 December 2023 and is granted for the whole world (only with some exceptions due to preceding licenses already granted to different aggregators).

From an economic point of view, the agreement provides for the payment of a flat fee of around Euros 400 thousand which will be paid during the term of the contract but which will be accounted in 2017, as the delivery of all the materials relating to the dismissed products will be completed within this year.

"because it will allow a very extensive and structured exploitation of our rich library on You Tube with an important exposure of our products and represents the right prize for the work done in the field of New Media by the Company; presents also very high margins as it relates to products of the classical library almost entirely amortized ".
