NEWS RELEASE

DBRS: update on Banco BPM Group's ratings, confirmed in the investment grade space

Milan, 15 December 2017 – We herewith inform that today DBRS, following the annual review, has confirmed all the ratings assigned to Banco BPM as well as to the subsidiary Banca Akros, maintaining them in the investment grade space, with Trend changed from Stable to Negative.

It is noted that the long-term ratings (Issuer Rating, Deposit and Senior Debt rating) stand at "BBB (low)" and the short-term ratings at "R-2 (middle)".

Concurrently, the Intrinsic Assessment "BBB (low)" and the Support Assessment "SA3" of Banco BPM have also been confirmed.
