Il Gruppo Mondo TV raggiunge un'intesa con Atlantyca per la coproduzione della seconda stagione della serie animata Bat Pat

La Mondo TV Producciones Canarias si occuperà della preproduzione, mentre la capogruppo è incaricata di realizzare l'animazione

Con la seconda stagione si attende un rafforzamento del brand dopo il successo televisivo della prima stagione

21 febbraio 2018 – Mondo TV annuncia che Mondo TV S.p.A. e Mondo TV Producciones Canarias hanno raggiunto un'intesa con Atlantyca S.p.A., società già produttrice di successi quali Geronimo Stilton, per la loro partecipazione alla produzione della seconda stagione della serie animata Bat Pat. La seconda stagione sarà costituita da 52 episodi di 11 'ciascuno e sarà prodotta in 2D.

Mondo TV Producciones Canarias sarà partner realizzando una parte rilevante dei lavori di pre-produzione per una quota pari a circa il 25% del budget di produzione complessivamente determinato in circa Euro 5.600.000. Mondo TV Canarias acquisterà quindi il 25% della proprietà della serie, divenendone altresì distributore nella penisola Iberica (si precisa che per la controllata è titolare del 100% dei diritti di sfruttamento audiovisivo in Spagna) e in America Latina.

Mondo TV S.p.A. si occuperà invece della realizzazione dell'animazione ricevendo a tal fine da Atlantyca un corrispettivo di Euro 500.000 oltre a una quota sui ricavi derivanti dallo sfruttamento della serie pari a circa il 20%. Mondo TV sarà inoltre incaricata della distribuzione della serie in alcuni territori europei, in Russia, in medio oriente e in Africa.

Si precisa che i diritti di sfruttamento audiovisivo per l'Italia sono riservati al 100% a Atlantyca.

Alla luce del successo televisivo della prima serie, è ragionevole aspettarsi un rafforzamento del brand grazie alla seconda stagione.

Mondo TV reaches an understanding with Atlantyca for the coproduction of the second season of Bat Pat

Mondo TV Producciones Canarias will take care of the pre-production, while Mondo TV S.p.A. will realize the animation

The second season shall strengthen the brand after the TV success of the first season

21 February 2018 – Mondo TV announces that Mondo TV S.p.A. and Mondo TV Producciones Canarias reached an understanding with Atlantyca S.p.A., a company already producer of such hits like Geronimo Stilton, for their participation in the production of the second season of the animated TV series Bat Pat. The second season will consist of 52 episodes of 11 'each and will be produced in 2D.

Mondo TV Producciones Canarias will be a partner, realizing a significant part of the pre-production works for a share equal to about 25% of the total production budget determined in approximately Euro 5,600,000. Mondo TV Canarias will then be entitled to 25% of the ownership of the series, becoming a distributor in the Iberian peninsula (it is highlighted that the subsidiary owns 100% of the rights of audiovisual exploitation in Spain) and in Latin America.

Mondo TV S.p.A. on the other hand, it will take care of the realization of the animation, receiving a fee of € 500,000 from Atlantyca in addition to a share of the revenues deriving from the exploitation of the series of approximately 20%. Mondo TV will also be in charge of the distribution of the series in some European territories, in Russia, in the Middle East and in Africa.

It is specified that the rights of audiovisual exploitation for Italy are 100% reserved to Atlantyca.

In light of the television success of the first series, it is reasonable to expect a strengthening of the brand thanks to the second season.
