Il Gruppo Mondo TV sottoscrive due accordi di licenza, per la trasmissione a pagamento di Sissi negli Stati Uniti su Starz TV in lingua spagnola e per la trasmissione di Robot Trains in Spagna sul canale Clan TVE

Il primo contratto contribuirà alla diffusione della cosiddetta brand awareness di Sissi negli Stati Uniti consentendo di avviare un lavoro di sviluppo licensing nel territorio.

Il secondo accordo conferma il trend positivo di Robot Trains, serie di grande successo in Italia, anche a livello internazionale.

9 maggio 2018 – Mondo TV annuncia di aver sottoscritto, tramite la controllata Mondo TV Iberoamerica, due nuovi accordi di licenza.

Un primo contratto è stato sottoscritto con 8 Star Entertainment, società con sede a Los Angeles, per la licenza delle due stagioni della serie TV Sissi La Giovane Imperatrice con cui vengono concessi i diritti di diffusione televisiva in lingua spagnola negli Stati Uniti. In particolare la licenza ha ad oggetto la concessione dei diritti cosiddetti Pay TV, SVOD e OTT per la trasmissione sul canale STARZ TV. La licenza avrà durata di 24 mesi a partire dicembre 2018.

Va sottolineato come il contratto con 8 Star Entertainment costituisca la prima licenza su Sissi negli Stati Uniti e l'accordo vede la sua importanza, al di là del corrispettivo di licenza non rilevante in sé, nel fatto che contribuirà alla diffusione della cosiddetta brand awareness di Sissi negli Stati Uniti consentendo di avviare un lavoro di sviluppo licensing nel territorio.

Il secondo contratto riguarda la trasmissione in Spagna sul canale per ragazzi Clan TVE della serie Robot Trains, distribuita dal Gruppo Mondo TV e la cui seconda stagione è coprodotta da Mondo Tv e la società coreana CJ. Questo accordo è importante in quanto la messa in onda sul canale pubblico spagnolo permetterà un ampio sfruttamento dei diritti di licensing e merchandising nella penisola Iberica.

Mondo TV Group executed two license agreements, one for the broadcast of Sissi in the United States and in Spanish on the Pay-TV channel Starz TV, and one for the broadcast in Spain of Robot Trains on Clan TVE channel.

The first contract will contribute to the spread of the brand awareness of Sissi in the United States allowing to start the development of licensing plans in such territory

The second agreement confirms the positive trend, also internationally, of Robot Trains, which is already a series of great success in Italy,

9 May 2018 – Mondo TV announced that its controlled company Mondo TV Iberoamerica executed two new contracts.

The first one with 8 Star Entertainment, a company based in Los Angeles, for the license of the two seasons of the TV series Sissi the young Empress, whereby the Pay TV, SVOD and OTT rights are granted to licensee. Pursuant to the agreement, the series will be broadcast in the Spanish-language in the United States on the STARZ TV channel. The license will have a duration of 24 months starting from December 2018.

It has to be highlighted that this is the first license on Sissi in the United States and the agreement sees its importance, beyond the license fee which is not relevant in itself, in the fact that it will contribute to the spread of the brand awareness of Sissi in the United States allowing to start the development of licensing plans in such territory.

The second agreement concerns the broadcast in Spain on the boys channel Clan TVE of the Robot Trains series, distributed by Mondo TV Group and whose second season is co-produced by Mondo TV and the Korean company CJ. The agreement is important because the airing of the show on the Spanish public channel will allow the exploitation of licensing and merchandising rights in the Iberian peninsula.
