Gruppo Mondo TV: Sony Music Entertainment Italy con Mondo TV Iberoamerica per la distribuzione dei brani musicali della colonna di "Heidi, Bienvenida a casa"

Dopo la vendita a Rai, con l'ingresso di Sony Music Entertainment Italy nel licensing della serie, si rafforza in modo importante in Italia il brand "Heidi, bienvenida"

7 giugno 2018 – Mondo TV comunica che la controllata Mondo TV Iberoamerica ha concluso un accordo con Sony Music Entertainment Italy S.p.A., per la distribuzione musicale dei brani musicali tratti dalla colonna sonora di "Heidi, bienvenida a casa". In particolare, Sony Entertainment avrà una licenza esclusiva per le registrazioni della prima serie televisiva di "Heidi, Bienvenida" con un'opzione per la seconda stagione. I diritti riguardano la distribuzione e sfruttamento musicale delle opere in Italia, San Marino, Città del Vaticano e la Svizzera italiana. A Sony è stato anche garantito un diritto di prima negoziazione per l'organizzazione futura di eventi dal vivo legati al brand e alla serie TV.

Arrivato dopo la vendita delle serie alla Rai, l'accordo è rilevante, più che per il dato economico delle royalties attese dallo sfruttamento dei brani musicali da parte di Sony, per il fatto che la distribuzione e la presenza di Sony Music Entertainment Italy costituiscono un importante elemento di supporto alla diffusione della conoscenza del brand in Italia e quindi allo sviluppo dei relativi piani di licensing.

Mondo TV Group: Sony Music Entertainment Italy with Mondo TV Iberoamerica for the distribution of the musical songs from the soundtrack of "Heidi, Bienvenida a casa"

After the sale to Rai, with the entry of Sony Music Entertainment Italy in the licensing of the series, the "Heidi, bienvenida" brand strengthens in Italy in an important way

7 June 2018 – Mondo TV announces that the subsidiary Mondo TV Iberoamerica has entered into an agreement with Sony Music Entertainment Italy S.p.A., for the musical distribution of the musical songs taken from the soundtrack of "Heidi, bienvenida a casa". In particular, Sony Entertainment will have an exclusive license for the recordings of the first television series of "Heidi, Bienvenida" with an option for the second season. The rights concern the distribution and musical exploitation of the works in Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and Italian Switzerland. Sony has also been granted a first negotiation right for the future organization of live events related to the brand and the TV series.

Arriving after the sale of the TV series to Rai, the agreement is relevant, more than for the economic data as royalties are expected from the exploitation by Sony, because the distribution and presence of Sony Music Entertainment Italy represent an important support to the spreading of the brand awareness in Italy, and therefore the development of related licensing plans.
