ENEL ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Rome, August 2nd, 2018 – Enel S.p.A. ("Enel") announces today that, effective October 1 st , 2018, Roberto Deambrogio – currently Head of the Europe & North Africa region – will become Head of Communications of the Group. Simone Mori will become Head of Europe & North Africa, in addition to retaining his current responsibilities as Head of European Affairs.

Ryan O'Keeffe, who has been Head of Communications of the Group since 2014, will be leaving the company to take up another professional opportunity, based in London.

Their experience will enable us to continue the positive momentum we have in Communications as well as in our operations across Europe and North Africa. I wish Roberto, Simone and Ryan all the best in their future roles."

Roberto Deambrogio was appointed Head of Eastern Europe for the Group in 2015, a role which was enlarged in April 2016 to cover Europe & North Africa. He came up through Enel Green Power, where from 2010 he was in charge of activities in Italy and Europe, as well as holding responsibility for South Africa and Morocco.

He has been with the Enel Group since 2005. Initially he covered the post of assistant to the CEO for international activities, and from 2006 to 2008 he was responsible for the development of renewable energies as part of the International Division, before moving to Enel Green Power, where from 2009 to 2010 he was responsible for business development.

Before joining Enel, he worked at Pirelli and at Bain & Company, where – from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2002 to 2005 – he carried out strategic consulting, following numerous multinational operators in the industry and working for various company offices in Europe and Latin America. During 2001 he worked in Merrill Lynch's London office in the investment banking division.

He holds a degree in economic and social studies from the Bocconi University, Milan, as well as an MBA from the Columbia Business School, New York.

Simone Mori has been the Enel Group's Head of European Affairs since July 2014.

He has served in a number of capacities within the Enel Group. He was Head of Regulatory Affairs, Environment and Innovation, with responsibility for regulatory issues in Italy and abroad, antitrust and environmental policies, in addition to being in charge of Carbon Strategy. He has served on the board of several companies belonging to the Enel Group both in Italy and abroad.

In May 2016 he was appointed Chairman of the electric energy association Assoelettrica – having previously held the office of Deputy Chairman – and in April 2017 he played an integral part in its merger with Assorinnovabili, which led to the creation of Elettricità Futura.

He is a member of the Technical Energy Group and the Technical Group Europe at Confindustria (the Italian business association) and a member of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee of OME (Observatoire Méditerranéen de l'Energie).

He has also served as Chairman of the Energy Association Assolombarda, Chairman of the Energy section of the Industrial Union of Rome and as a member of the Energy Commission of Confindustria.

He is a board member of Bruegel (European think tank specialized in economics and based in Brussels) and a Senior Transatlantic Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

He also lectures in Economics and Management of Energy Sources at La Sapienza and LUISS Guido Carli Universities in Rome.
