Rome, 23 October 2018 – Poste Italiane announces that Moody's Investor Services has aligned the Company's rating to that of the Italian Republic from Baa2 (outlook negative) to Baa3 (outlook stable).
The rating action reflects the methodology applied to issuers that are linked to the Italian Government.
Moody's confirms Poste Italiane's solidity and credit metrics, highlighting improvements in its operating performance and reduction in leverage thanks to its capacity to generate cash flow.
