RCS MediaGroup: actions commenced in relation to the sale of the properties Solferino/San Marco

Milan, 20 November 2018 – With reference to the press article appeared today, November 20, on the Financial Times, RCS informs to have commenced an arbitration proceedings last week in Milan, consistent with the arbitration requirements set forth in the sale agreements regarding the real estate assets located in Milan, via San Marco/Via Solferino/Via Balzan.

Such arbitration is aimed at declaring the nullity of the above mentioned sale agreements pursuant to Italian law, by which such agreements are governed.

RCS expects that the New York court will quickly recognize that Blackstone has no legitimate basis for bringing suit in New York, the Italian arbitration being the only appropriate forum, and that its claims are without merit.

Any other affirmation regarding the merits of the matter as reported in the aforesaid press article appears to be inaccurate and overall misleading.
