Saipem: nuovo contratto E&C Onshore per il progetto Arctic LNG 2, per la progettazione e costruzione di piattaforme a gravità, per un valore di circa 2,2 miliardi di euro. La quota di competenza Saipem è pari a circa 1,1 miliardi euro

San Donato Milanese (MI), 19 Dicembre 2018 – Saipem, in Joint Venture con Renaissance, società turca di servizi nell'oil&gas, si è aggiudicata un nuovo contratto E&C Onshore nel territorio della Federazione Russa per un valore complessivo di circa 2,2 miliardi di euro. La quota di Saipem, leader della joint venture nella quale detiene una partecipazione del 50%, è pari a circa 1,1 miliardi di euro.

Il contratto è stato assegnato dalla società Artic LNG 2, costituita da Novatek JSPC al 60% e da Ekropromstroy Ltd al 40%. Il progetto verrà realizzato nel distretto di Tazovsky, nella regione autonoma di Yamal - Nenets, nella parte occidentale della penisola di Gydan.

Il progetto prevede la realizzazione di tre impianti di gas naturale liquefatto (GNL), ciascuno della capacità di circa 6,6 milioni di tonnellate/anno (MTPA), che verranno installati su delle piattaforme a gravità in cemento, e include strutture di stoccaggio GNL per un totale di 687.000 metri cubi.

I lavori affidati alla joint venture comprendono la progettazione e la costruzione di tre piattaforme a gravità in cemento, alte 30 metri, su una base di 330x152 metri. Le piattaforme Gravity Based Strucuture (GBS), verranno fabbricate in due bacini di carenaggio in un cantiere messo a disposizione da Novatek a Murmansk. Successivamente, verranno trasportate e installate a Gydan.

Il contratto rientra nel quadro dell'accordo di partnership strategica per le attività legate a progetti di GNL siglato tra Saipem e Novatek nel 2016.

Saipem: new Onshore E&C contract for the Arctic LNG 2 GBS Design and Build project worth approximately 2.2 billion Euro. The Saipem share is about 1.1 billion Euro

San Donato Milanese (MI), December 19, 2018 – Saipem, in Joint Venture with Renaissance, a Turkish oil&gas services company, has been awarded a new Onshore E&C project in the Russian Federation worth 2.2 billion Euro overall. As leader of the JV, with a shareholding of 50%, Saipem's portion of the total amount is therefore approximately 1.1 billion Euro.

The contract has been awarded by the company Artic LNG 2, consisting of Novatek JSPC (60%) and Ekropromstroy Ltd (40%). The project will be executed in the Tazovsky District, in the autonomous administrative region of Yamal-Nenets, in the western part of the Gydan Peninsula.

The project encompasses the construction of three Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plants, each with a capacity of about 6.6 million tons per annum (MTPA), that will be installed on Concrete Gravity Based Structures (GBS) and includes LNG storage facilities totalling 687,000 m 3 .

The works entrusted to the JV comprise the Design and Build of the three 30 metre high Concrete Gravity Based Structures on a surface of 330 x 152 metres. These Concrete GBSs will be fabricated in two dry docks in a Novatek provided facility in Murmansk. Subsequently, they will be towed and installed in Gydan.

The contract forms part of a strategic partnership agreement signed by Saipem and Novatek in 2016 for activities associated with LNG projects.
