MONDO TV: conclusa una licenza per i diritti di trasmissione satellitare in Medio Oriente e Nord Africa su Al Wasat TV di alcune serie in distribuzione dalla Mondo TV

Primo contratto concluso con Al Barneek Co., nuovo cliente proprietario del suddetto canale

7 gennaio 2019 – Mondo TV annuncia di aver sottoscritto un contratto di licenza con la società Al Bareek Company, avente sede a Beirut e proprietaria del canale televisivo generalista Al Wasat TV Channel Lybia per la trasmissione in Medio Oriente e Nord Africa di sette serie distribuite dalla Mondo TV, tra cui la prima stagione di Robot Trains, le prime due stagioni in 2D di Yoohoo & Friends, Bat Pat, Farhat e altre tre serie di terze parti.

L'accordo prevede la licenza dei diritti di diffusione televisiva satellitare, sena diritto di esclusiva, in lingua araba per un periodo di due anni a partire dal 15 gennaio 2019.

Il corrispettivo di licenza, che per motivi di riservatezza commerciale non è possibile comunicare, è interessante seppur in sé non particolarmente significativo, ma il contratto rileva in quanto si tratta di un primo contratto per il canale Al Wasat TV Channel Lybia e apre possibilità in futuro di ulteriori contratti con il nuovo cliente.

MONDO TV S.p.A.: a license agreement executed for satellite rights in Middle East and North Africa on Al Wasat TV of some series distributed by Mondo TV

First agreement entered into with Al Barneek Co., new client which owns the above TV channel

7 January 2019 – Mondo TV announces that it has signed a license agreement with the company Al Bareek Company, headquartered in Beirut and owner of the generalist TV channel Al Wasat TV Channel Lybia, for the broadcast in the Middle East and North Africa of seven series distributed by Mondo TV, among which the first season of Robot Trains, the first two 2D seasons of Yoohoo & Friends, Bat Pat, Farhat and three more third parties' series.

The agreement provides for the license of satellite television broadcasting rights, without exclusive rights, in Arabic for a period of two years starting from January 15, 2019.

The license fee, which for reasons of commercial confidentiality cannot be disclosed, is interesting though not particularly significant in itself, but the contract is relevant because it is a first contract for the channel Al Wasat TV Channel Lybia and opens possibilities in the future of further contracts with the new customer.
