PRESS RELEASE
Gas Plus: approved by the National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR) the development plan of Ana and Doina gas fields in the Romanian Black Sea, "Midia Gas Development Plan".
Milan, 12 April 2019 – As part of its International production and exploration activities (E&P), Gas Plus together with its co-venture partners, Black Sea Oil & Gas SRL and Petro Ventures Resources SRL, have obtained from the National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR), the approval of the Field Development Plan of Ana and Doina gas fields located in the Romanian Black Sea sector ("Midia Gas Development Plan") and Gas Plus will therefore recognize an increase of its hydrocarbon reserves for an updated amount that will be communicated as soon as the report of the certifying body will be available.
Gas Plus is the fourth largest producer of natural gas (as estimated by the Authority for Electricity, Gas and Water System, AEEGSI) after Eni, Edison and Shell Italia E&P. It is active in the main sectors of the industry of natural gas, particularly in the exploration, production, purchase, distribution and sale to retail customers. At 31 December 2018, the Group has 45 exploitation concessions located throughout the Italian territory, manages a total of approximately 1,600 kilometers of distribution network located in 39 Municipalities, serves a total of more than 69,000 end users, with a staff of 159 employees.
