GRUPPO PIAGGIO: SIGLATO CON L'AGENZIA DELLE ENTRATE L'ACCORDO SUL PATENT BOX
Milano, 16 luglio 2019 – Il Gruppo Piaggio (PIA.MI) ha siglato con l'Agenzia delle Entrate italiana l'accordo preventivo per accedere al regime di tassazione agevolato previsto dalla normativa che ha introdotto il Patent Box.
Il regime opzionale del Patent Box ha durata per cinque esercizi sociali (2015-2019). Il beneficio fiscale stimato per Piaggio relativo al quadriennio 2015-2018 è pari a circa 6 milioni di euro, mentre il beneficio per l'anno 2019 sarà stimato in sede di redazione del relativo Bilancio annuale.
L'accordo di Patent Box sottoscritto dal Gruppo Piaggio prevede un regime di tassazione agevolata sul reddito generato, direttamente e indirettamente, mediante l'utilizzo dei marchi, registrati o in corso di registrazione. Il vantaggio è determinato escludendo dal reddito imponibile di ciascun esercizio una determinata quota di reddito attribuibile all'utilizzo dei marchi oggetto dell'agevolazione: tale percentuale è pari al 30% per l'esercizio 2015, al 40% per il 2016 e al 50% per il triennio 2017-2019.

PIAGGIO GROUP: AGREEMENT WITH ITALIAN REVENUE AGENCY ON PATENT BOX
Milan, 16 July 2019 – The Piaggio Group (PIA.MI) has signed the advance agreement with the Italian Revenue Agency to access the tax relief regime envisaged by the legislation that introduced the Patent Box.
The optional Patent Box regime has a duration of five business years (2015-2019). The estimated tax benefit for Piaggio for the four years 2015-2018 amounts to approximately 6 million euro; the benefit for 2019 will be estimated during the drafting of the 2019 Annual Report.
The Patent Box agreement signed by the Piaggio Group is a tax-relief regime on income generated, directly and indirectly, from use of trademarks that are already registered or with registration pending. The benefit is determined by excluding from the taxable income of each business year a certain percentage of income attributable to use of the trademarks in question: 30% for 2015, 40% for 2016 and 50% for the three years 2017-2019.
