Triboo: The Board of Directors appoints Patrizio Mapelli as Board Member, and Marco Giapponese as the new Managing Director of the Group

Milan, 23 July 2019

The Board of Directors of Triboo, – Group operating in the E-Commerce & Digital Advertising sector, listed on the MTA market of the Italian Stock Exchange - has appointed Patrizio Mapelli as new member to replace Marco Giapponese, who will become Managing Director of the Group from the 1 st of August 2019.

Marco Giapponese has resigned from his position as independent member of the Board of Directors of Triboo, in view of his new appointment.

Therefore, the Board of Directors, subject to the positive opinion of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, co-opted Patrizio Mapelli as new member.

The new Managing Director of Triboo, Marco Giapponese, has held the position of Managing Partner of Immobiliare.it, significantly contributing to the growth of the main Italian portal for buying and selling real estate.

The new Board Member, Patrizio Mapelli, born in 1955, graduated in theoretical physics from the University of Milan, has been CEO of Value Team, acquired by NTT DATA in June 2011, then part of NTT DATA EMEA of which he has been Chairman and CEO until 2018. Mapelli has consolidated managerial experience in the IT sector and today holds the position of Senior Advisor Global Business for NTT Holding and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of NTT DATA Italia.
