Saipem entra nella JV per la realizzazione del progetto Arctic LNG2 con una quota lavori di circa 2,2 miliardi di euro
San Donato Milanese (MI), 2 agosto 2019 - Saipem ha sottoscritto un accordo con Technip France SA e NIPIgaspererabotka per partecipare alla Joint Venture per la realizzazione del progetto Arctic LNG2.
Il progetto è stato assegnato dalla società Arctic LNG2, composta da Novatek JSPC (60%) ed Ekropromstroy Ltd (40%) e prevede l'ingegneria di dettaglio, l'approvvigionamento di materiali, la costruzione, la messa in esercizio e l'avviamento di tre linee di gas naturale liquefatto (GNL), ciascuna con una capacità di circa 6,6 milioni di tonnellate per anno (MTPA), che verranno installate su piattaforme a gravità in cemento (Gravity Based Structures), oggetto di un altro contratto che Saipem sta attualmente realizzando e comunicato il 19 dicembre 2018.
Le tre nuove linee LNG saranno realizzate nel distretto di Tazovsky situato nella regione amministrativa autonoma di Yamal - Nenets, nella parte occidentale della penisola di Gydan (Federazione Russa).
Il contratto sarà eseguito su base lump sum e rimborsabile. Saipem ha acquisito una quota lavori per un valore di circa 2,2 miliardi di euro.

Saipem joins the JV for the realization of the Arctic LNG2 project with a share worth approximately 2.2 billion Euro
San Donato Milanese (MI), August 2, 2019 - Saipem has reached an agreement with Technip France SA and NIPIgaspererabotka to participate in the Joint Venture for the realization of the Arctic LNG2 project.
The project has been awarded by Arctic LNG2, a company formed by Novatek JSPC (60%) and Ekropromstroy Ltd (40%). It comprises the detailed design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and start-up of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains, each with a capacity of approximately 6.6 million tons per year (MTPA), which will be installed on Concrete Gravity Based Structures (GBS). Saipem is currently designing and building the GBS in the framework of the contract already announced with the press release of December 19, 2018.
The new LNG trains will be realized in the Tazovsky district located in the autonomous administrative region of Yamal - Nenets, in the western part of the Gydan peninsula (Russian Federation).
The Contract will be executed under Lump Sum and Reimbursable basis. Saipem has been assigned a share of the project worth approximately 2.2 billion Euro.
