Fastned further accelerates its European network by winning prestigious tenders

Amsterdam, 15 October — Fastned, the European fast-charging company, grew revenue by 44.0% in Q3 2024,reaching €21.9 million.In the third quarter, Fastned delivered 35.5 GWh (+38.5% vs. Q3 2023) to 474,000 active customers (+32.6% vs. Q3 2023) and once again outpaced the electric fleet, which grew by 34%. To cater to the growth of the charging market and to continue offering its awarded charging experience to more EV drivers, Fastned secured 114 locations in the last 12 months and aims to open 39 to 54 new stations this year.

We continued on our growth path

• With over 35.5 GWh delivered (+38.5% vs. Q3 2023), our revenue grew to €21.9 million (+44.0 % vs. Q3 2023).
• The electric fleet across our operational markets was up 34% compared to the same period last year. ² Fastned continues to outpace the EV fleet growth.
• Station sales continue to grow, slightly lowerthanBEV growth. Energy delivered per station increased by 19% YoY.

We are securing more high-traffic locations and continue to expand our network

• During the period, Fastned secured 13 new high-traffic locations, bringing the total pipeline to 523 secured locations.
• Fastned added 8 new stations to its network this quarter. At the end ofthe quarter, Fastned had 326 operational stations across 7 countries.

• In addition to new stations, Fastned completely redeveloped its location Den Ruygen Hoek-West, which now offers 16 charging spots to caterfor demand growth.
• The past month saw valuable tender wins in the UK, Switzerland, and Denmark, which will add another17 locations to the secured pipeline during Q4 :
  • Places for London selected Fastned as the preferred partnerfor its new electric-vehicle charging hub joint venture. The first five ultra-rapid charging hubs will be delivered across London in 2026, with at least 20 more sites planned in future years as the joint venture progresses.
  • In Switzerland, Fastned secured 11 new strategic locations along Swiss motorways in the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) project tender.
  • Fastned has been awarded the contract to build a new fast-charging station in Nyborg, directly next to the Storebælt Link in Denmark. The station will be one ofthe largest in Denmark and eventually accommodate up to 20 cars simultaneously.

• Fastned has become the first European charging company to be B Corp-certified.B Corp is a sustainability certification that measures a company's social and environmental impact.
• 474,122 active customers (+32.6% vs. Q3 2023) charged their cars 1.25 million times (+32.6 % vs. Q3 2023) on Fastned's network.

Amsterdam,15 oktober 2024 - De omzet van Fastned, het Europese snellaadbedrijf, groeide in Q3 2024 met 44,0% tot €21,9 miljoen.In het derde kwartaal leverde Fastned 35,5 GWh (+38,5% vs. Q3 2023) aan 474.000 actieve klanten (+32,6% vs. Q3 2023) en groeide opnieuw harder dan de markt van elektrische auto's, die met 34% groeide. Om te blijven voldoen aan de groeiende vraag naarladen en om de beste laadervaring te blijven aanbieden aan meer EV-rijders, heeft Fastned de afgelopen 12 maanden 114 nieuwe locaties verworven. Het bedrijf streeft ernaar om dit jaar 39 tot 54 nieuwe stations te openen.

Een overzicht van de prestaties van Fastned in het derde kwartaal van 2024:

"Volgens het in 2024 verschenen 'Staat van het Klimaat' rapport bereikte vorig jaar 25 van de zogenoemde 35 planetaire 'vitale functies' een nieuw record. Verandering is dus nodig. Ik ben daarom blij om te zien dat het aantal bedrijven dat volledig elektrische wagenparken verplicht stelt, meer dan verdubbeld is. Grote bedrijven lopen voorop, met meer dan 60% van de bedrijven die elektrische voertuigen al verplicht stelt in Nederland 3 . Dit is een goed voorbeeld van de concrete impact van de CSRD-wetgeving vanuit de EU. Fastned heeft de missie om de overgang naar elektrische mobiliteit te versnellen en we laten verdere groei zien op weg naar het doel om in 2030 1.000 snellaadstations in Europa te hebben. We zetten onze groei door

• Met meer dan 35,5 GWh geleverd (+38,5% vs. Q3 2023), groeiden onze inkomsten tot €21,9 miljoen (+44,0% vs. Q3 2023).
• De elektrische vloot in de markten waarin wij opereren steeg met 34% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode vorig jaar 4 . Fastned blijft de groei van de EV-vloot overtreffen.
• De verkopen per station blijven groeien, net iets minder hard dan de groei van de BEV penetratie. De geleverde energie per station steeg met 19% jaar-op-jaar.

We verwerven meer high-traffic locaties en blijven ons netwerk uitbreiden

• Gedurende de afgelopen periode heeft Fastned 13 nieuwe high-traffic locaties verworven, waarmee de totale pijplijn op 523 locaties komt.
• Fastned voegde dit kwartaal 8 nieuwe stations toe aan het netwerk. Aan het eind van het kwartaal had Fastned 326 operationele stations in 7 landen.
• Naast nieuwe stations heeft Fastned zijn locatie Den Ruygen Hoek-West volledig herontwikkeld, waardoor er nu 16 laadplekken op het station zijn om aan de groeiende vraag naar snelladen te voldoen.
• Afgelopen maand werden waardevolle aanbestedingen gewonnen in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Zwitserland en Denemarken, waardoor in het vierde kwartaal nog eens 17 locaties aan de pijplijn met verworven locaties zullen worden toegevoegd:
  • Places for London selecteerde Fastned als voorkeurspartner voor haar nieuwe joint venture voor oplaadpunten voor elektrische voertuigen. De eerste vijf ultra-snelle oplaadpunten zullen in 2026 in Londen worden

• In Zwitserland heeft Fastned 11 nieuwe strategische locaties langs de Zwitserse snelwegen verworven in de tender voor het project van het Federal Roads Office (FEDRO).
• Fastned heeft de opdracht verworven voor de bouw van een nieuw snellaadstation in Nyborg, direct naast de Storebælt Link in Denemarken. Het station wordt één van de grootste in Denemarken en zal uiteindelijk plaats bieden aan 20 auto's die tegelijk kunnen laden.

We bouwen aan een community gefocust op duurzame mobiliteit en de energietransitie

• Fastned is het eerste Europese laadbedrijf dat B Corp-gecertificeerd is.B Corp is een duurzaamheidscertificering die de sociale en milieu-impact van een bedrijf meet.
