Mondo TV raggiunge un nuovo accordo di licenza in Russia con Gazprom Media per la trasmissione SVOD di circa 600 ore di programmi della library

Primo accordo con il più grande gruppo media dell'area russa

29 ottobre 2019 – Dopo il recente accordo con PJSC MegaFon del 11 ottobre 2019 (cfr. comunicato stampa in pari data), Mondo TV S.p.A. annuncia di aver raggiunto sempre in Russia ma con Gazprom Media, il più grande gruppo media in Russia, un nuovo accordo di licenza avente ad oggetto lo sfruttamento SVOD di circa 600 ore di programmi della library Mondo TV.

Con il nuovo accordo la licenziataria potrà offrire i programmi licenziati in Russia per tre anni sulla propria piattaforma SVOD in via non esclusiva. Il contratto prevede il pagamento da parte della licenziataria di un corrispettivo in sé non rilevante, ma è importante sia per la rilevanza del licenziatario, sia perché avendo natura non esclusiva consente alla Mondo TV di sommare questo accordo ad altre e similari forme di sfruttamento nell'area russa.

Si tratta del primo accordo con l'importante gruppo Media e l'interesse per i prodotti della library Mondo TV che viene confermato sul mercato da tale operatore può essere di traino per la conclusione di altri e nuovi accordi per il gruppo Mondo TV.

Mondo TV reaches a new understanding in Russia with Gazprom Media for the license of SVOD broadcast on around 600 hours of library programs

First agreement with the largest media group in the Russian area

29 October 2019 - After the recent agreement with PJSC MegaFon of 11 October 2019 (see press release on the same date), Mondo TV S.p.A. announces that it has reached again in Russia but with Gazprom Media, the largest Russian media group, a license agreement concerning the SVOD exploitation of about 600 hours of programs in the Mondo TV library.

With this new agreement the licensee will be able to offer the licensed programs in Russia for three years on its own SVOD platform on a non-exclusive basis. The contract provides for the payment by the licensee of a non-relevant consideration in itself, but the agreement is important both because of the relevance of the licensee, and because it has a non-exclusive nature, which allows Mondo TV to add this agreement to other and similar forms of exploitation in the Russian area.

This is the first agreement with this important Media group and the interest in the products of the Mondo TV library that is confirmed on the market by this operator can be a driving force for the conclusion of other and new agreements for the Mondo TV group in the same area.
