Vimercate (Monza Brianza), 10 marzo 2020 - ESPRINET (PRT:IM) informa tutti i suoi stakeholder sulla piena continuità operativa sia in Italia, a seguito del Decreto del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri del 9 marzo 2020 recante "Ulteriori disposizioni attuative del decreto-legge 23 febbraio 2020, n. 6, recante misure urgenti in materia di contenimento e gestione dell'emergenza epidemiologica da COVID-19, applicabili sull'intero territorio nazionale", che in Spagna e Portogallo.
Relativamente all'Italia, il Gruppo si è strutturato da tempo per far fronte a emergenze di diversa natura: la capacità di accessi VPN, precedentemente pari a 900 utenti connessi, a partire dalla data odierna è portata definitivamente a 1.200 utenti collegati contemporaneamente.
Il Gruppo ha raggiunto pertanto una potenzialità di lavoro in Smart Working pari al 100%. Da due settimane gli uffici in Italia operano con tale modalità per 5 giorni alla settimana. Stante il livello di preparazione di Esprinet su queste tematiche, testato in ben due anni di esperienza, l'operatività commerciale e amministrativa in queste due settimane non è stata impattata e il Gruppo ritiene che sarà pienamente garantita nel periodo di vigenza del recente decreto presidenziale.
Il decreto non prevede limitazioni all'operatività delle unità logistiche; si conferma la piena attività dei magazzini di Cavenago e Cambiago sia in ricezione merce che in spedizione.
Sono conseguentemente attive le pianificazioni degli slot i) di consegna del prodotto presso i magazzini da parte dei vettori dei fornitori e ii) di ritiro del prodotto in uscita da parte dei vettori che servono la clientela.
Sono aperti tutti i Cash&Carry del Gruppo sul territorio italiano.
Sono pienamente attivi i presidi di "business continuity" sui sistemi informativi che permettono di garantire la completa funzionalità dei sistemi.
Ogni accesso di personale esterno agli uffici del Gruppo è sospeso fino alla scadenza delle ordinanze ministeriali salvo casi di comprovata urgenza o necessità come previsto dal Decreto sopracitato.
Le attività spagnole e portoghesi non sono al momento impattate: il Gruppo, sulla base delle pratiche messe in atto in Italia, sta progressivamente adottando misure analoghe al fine di poter affrontare l'eventuale estensione dell'epidemia anche a queste geografie.
La continuità operativa del Gruppo è inscindibilmente legata a quella dei propri fornitori rappresentati dalle principali case tecnologiche mondiali i quali, per la gran parte dipendono, da stabilimenti produttivi insediati in aree, come Cina e Corea del Sud, che sono state fortemente impattate dalle misure restrittive adottate nelle scorse settimane. Le informazioni di cui disponiamo da tali fornitori, con i quali siamo in costante contatto, indicano una situazione in via di progressiva normalizzazione.
Il Gruppo Esprinet è in stretto contatto con le autorità di regolamentazione per monitorare da vicino lo sviluppo dell'epidemia di Coronavirus ed esprime la sua solidarietà a tutti gli operatori sanitari che in questo momento stanno prodigandosi per la salute dei malati.
Il Gruppo invita inoltre tutto il proprio personale nonché i propri clienti e fornitori a proseguire la vita personale e l'attività professionale nel pieno rispetto delle normative di legge volte a ridurre le occasioni di contagio.

Vimercate (Monza Brianza), 10 March 2020 - ESPRINET (PRT:IM) notifies all its stakeholders of its full business continuity both in Italy, following the Presidential Decree of 9 March 2020 containing "Further implementing measures of the law-decree of 23 February 2020, no. 6, with urgent measures regarding the containment and management of the COVID-19 epidemic emergency, to be implemented to the entire Nation", as well as in Spain and Portugal.
As regards Italy, the Group has been organised for some time to deal with a range of different emergency situations: the VPN access capacity, previously with 900 connected users, has reached as of today a total of 1, 200 users connected simultaneously.
The Group has thus achieved 100% Smart Working potential. For the past two weeks, offices in Italy have been working in this mode five days a week. Given Esprinet's level of preparation in this sense, tried and tested over no fewer than two years, trade and administration has not been affected over these past two weeks and the Group believes it will be fully guaranteed during the validity of the recent presidential decree.
The decree does not set out restrictions regarding logistics operations; hence full operational activities are confirmed for the warehouses in Cavenago and Cambiago both in terms of goods in and goods out. As a result, slots plans are active for i) delivery of products to the warehouses by supplier carriers and ii) collection of the products from the warehouses by carriers serving clients.
All Group's Cash&Carry units are open all over Italy.
Business continuity controls are fully active on information systems guaranteeing total system functionality.
All access by external personnel to the Group offices is suspended until the expiry of the ministerial orders except for cases of legitimate urgency or necessity as set forth by the aforementioned decree.
Business in Spain and Portugal has not as yet been affected: the Group, based on the measures taken in Italy, is gradually adopting similar measures to deal with the possible extension of the epidemic in these countries.
The Group's operational continuity is strictly linked to that of its suppliers, namely leading world technology companies that mainly depend on production units located in areas such as China and South Korea, which have been seriously affected by restrictive measures adopted over past weeks. The information we have gleaned from those suppliers, with which we are in constant contact, indicates a situation that is gradually improving.
The Esprinet Group is in close contact with the regulatory authorities in monitoring the development of the Coronavirus epidemic and expresses its solidarity with all the health workers who are currently doing their utmost to protect the health of those affected.
