Mondo TV e la tedesca Toon2Tango decidono di avviare entro l'anno la loro prima co-produzione

Anticipato rispetto al previsto l'avvio del primo prodotto tra i progetti oggetto di sviluppo congiunto nell'ambito dell'accordo di cooperazione strategica tra le parti alla luce delle positive reazioni al progetto

Toon2Tango conferma anche l'avvio della pre-produzione del primo dei prodotti in co-distribuzione con Mondo TV

Il combinato effetto potrà essere l'accelerazione dei ricavi per i prossimi anni per la Mondo TV

14 settembre 2020 – Mondo TV informa di aver concordato con Toon2Tango di mettere in produzione entro l'anno il primo tra i progetti che hanno sviluppato congiuntamente nell'ambito dell'accordo di cooperazione annunciato a giugno 2019. Gli sforzi profusi nello sviluppo e il risultato ottenuto hanno portato in vita il progetto sulla base delle reazioni molto positive dei buyer che operano nel mercato.

La serie sarà prodotta in CGI, sarà composta da 26 episodi da 26 minuti ciascuno, e sarà realizzata con un budget globale di circa Euro 7.2 milioni da dividere in parti sostanzialmente uguali dai partner: i partner sono altresì impegnati nell'attuare la strategia di vendita e sono fiduciosi di portare a bordo alcune importanti emittenti televisive come co-investitori..

La decisione di anticipare i tempi è strategica e importante considerando che il momento difficile dovuto al Covid dà la possibilità, a chi ha capacità di investimento, di investire e guadagnare posizioni contro i concorrenti in un momento di forte richiesta di contenuti audiovisivi.

Inoltre Toon2Tango ha informato la Mondo TV, all'interno dei propri accordi strategici, che per il primo tra i programmi per i quali le due parti agiscono come co-distributori e di cui Mondo TV non è co-produttore (cfr. comunicato stampa del 6 marzo 2020) è entato nella fase di pre-produzione: pertanto la Mondo TV potrà accelerare e intensificare la propria attività distributiva del programma stesso.

L'effetto combinato dei due eventi sopra richiamati potrà essere un'accelerazione dei ricavi dei prossimi anni per la Mondo TV.

Mondo TV and Toon2Tango agree the start within this year their first co-production

The anticipation of the start of their first project among those co-developed under their cooperation agreement has been decided given the positive feedback from the market

Toon2Tango also informed about the start of the pre-production of the first program among those co-distributed with Mondo TV

The combined effect can be an acceleration of the revenues in the next years for Mondo TV

14 September 2020: Mondo TV informed that it has agreed with Toon2Tango to put in production within this year the first of the projects that were jointly co-developed under the cooperation agreement announced in June 2019. The market's feedbacks on the results of the development were so encouraging, that the parties have decided to put into production the project. in advance respect to their expectations.

The series will be produced in CGI, for 26 episodes by 26 minutes each, and will be realized with a global budget of approximately Euros 7.2 million to be equally shared by the partners: in the meantime the two parties are working for bringing more major broadcasters as co-investors in the production of the show.

The decision to anticipate is strategic and important considering that the difficult time due to Covid gives the chance for those who have investment capacity to invest and gain positions against competitors in a moment of high demand for audiovisual contents.

In addition, and as part of their strategic deal, T2T has informed Mondo that the first of a few distribution deals which Mondo and T2T will co-distribute has reached next stage and goes into pre-production: in such case Mondo TV does not participate as coproducer (see press release dated 6 March 2020) but being involved in the distribution it can speed up and intensify its distribution activity on the same program.

The combined effect of the above events can result in an acceleration of the revenues for next years for Mondo TV.
