La controllata Mondo TV Suisse annuncia la sottoscrizione dell'accordo long form per la produzione della terza stagione di Robot Trains e che prevede anche una vendita in Cina della serie stessa

Il Gruppo Mondo TV avrà il 90% dei diritti sulla terza stagione

La sola vendita in Cina della terza stagione avrà un effetto positivo per il fatturato della controllata nel 2020/2021 di circa USD 600.000

6 ottobre 2020 – Mondo TV S.p.A. comunica che la controllata Mondo TV Suisse ha annunciato di aver sottoscritto con CJ E&M, una delle maggiori società coreane di contenuti e marketing, il contratto long form relativo alla produzione e alla distribuzione della terza stagione della serie Robot Trains la cui produzione è attualmente in corso.

In base all'accordo, la Mondo TV Suisse si occupa dell'intera produzione acquisendo la proprietà della serie al 90%, mentre CJ manterrà la proprietà della property originale e del 10% della terza stagione con diritto alla partecipazione ai ricavi derivanti dallo sfruttamento della serie proporzionata alla propria quota.

Le Parti in occasione della stipula del long form, hanno concordato che il Gruppo Mondo TV si occuperà della distribuzione mondiale della serie, con una commissione del 30%, ad eccezione della Corea dove la distribuzione sarà curata da CJ con la medesima commissione. Inoltre la Mondo TV ha autorizzato CJ a procedere ad una vendita in Cina dei diritti di comunicazione televisiva e su piattaforma, nonché dei diritti di licensing (con espressa esclusione della linea Toy che rimane sotto il controllo della Mondo TV Suisse) della terza stagione con condivisione al 50% dei ricavi di vendita. La vendita autorizzata genererà ricavi per la Mondo TV Suisse nel periodo 2020/2021 per circa USD 600.000,di cui almeno USD 300.000 nel 2020, sulla base del prezzo di vendita comunicato dal partner e autorizzato dalla Mondo TV Suisse.

Mondo TV Group will have 90% of the rights of the third season

6 October 2020: Mondo TV S.p.A. informed that the subsidiary Mondo TV Suisse has announced that it has signed with CJ E&M, one of the largest Korean content and marketing companies, the long form contract relating to the production and distribution of the third season of the Robot Trains series, the production of which is currently underway.

Under the agreement, Mondo TV Suisse will handle the entire production by acquiring ownership of the series at 90%, while CJ will retain ownership of the original property and a share of 10% of the third season with the right to participate in the revenues deriving from the exploitation of the series proportionate to its share.

On the occasion of the signing of the long form, the Parties have agreed that the Mondo TV Group will handle the worldwide distribution of the series with a commission of 30%, while CJ will distribute the series in Korea with the same commission. Furthermore, Mondo TV has authorized CJ to proceed with a sale in China of the television and digital platform rights, as well as the licensing rights (with the express exclusion of the Toy line which remains under the control of Mondo TV Suisse) of the third season with sharing at 50% of the sales revenues. The authorized sale will generate revenues for Mondo TV Suisse in the period 2020/2021 of approximately USD 600,000, of which at least USD 300,000 in 2020, based on the sale price communicated by the partner and authorized by Mondo TV Suisse.
