Mondo TV: concluso accordo per il licensing in Italia sotto il brand Ludattica di alcune categorie di giochi educational per il Gruffalò

Prosegue l'espansione del licensing in Italia della property in distribuzione da parte di Mondo TV

13 ottobre 2020 – Mondo TV comunica che Educational S.r.l., società italiana leader che da più di quarant'anni svolge attività di ricerca e formazione sulle strategie di apprendimento dei bambini e che sotto il brand Ludattica fa del gioco il più importante motore di apprendimento, ha acquistato da Mondo TV S.p.A. una licenza per il territorio di Italia, San Marino, Città del Vaticano e Canton Ticino, per lo sfruttamento dei diritti di licensing e merchandising della property Il Gruffalò per la produzione e il commercio di alcune tipologie di giochi educativi.

La licenza prevede lo sfruttamento del brand per due anni fino a fine 2022; l'accordo prevede il pagamento di un minimo garantito, in sé non particolarmente significativo, e di royalties da parte della licenziataria a favore di Mondo TV per le vendite eccedenti l'importo del minimo garantito.

L'accordo conferma l'appeal della property Il Gruffalò, distribuita dalla Mondo TV, nel mercato del licensing e merchandising si sta quindi espandendo in Italia e da cui è possibile attendersi interessanti ritorni di royalties per la società.

Mondo TV: executed an agreement for the licensing under the brand Ludattica of some educational games on The Gruffalo for Italy

The property being distributed by Mondo TV continues its expansion in Italy in the licensing sector

13 October 2020 – Mondo TV announced that Educational S.r.l., a leading Italian company that has been carrying out research and training activities on childrens' learning strategies for more than forty years and which, under the Ludattica brand, makes games the most important learning engine, has purchased from Mondo TV S.p.A. a license for the territory of Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and Ticino, for the exploitation of the licensing and merchandising rights of IP The Gruffalo for the production and marketing of some kind of educational games.

The license provides for the exploitation of the brand for two years up to the end of 2022; the agreement provides for the payment by the licensee in favor of Mondo TV of a minimum guarantee amount, not significant in itself, as well as royalties for sales exceeding the minimum guaranteed amount.

The agreement confirms the appeal of The Gruffalo property, distributed by Mondo TV, in the licensing and merchandising market where it is expanding and from which it is therefore possible to expect interesting returns of royalties for the company.
