EDISON PERFEZIONA LA VENDITA DI INFRASTRUTTURE DISTRIBUZIONE GAS A 2I RETE GAS PER 150 MILIONI DI EURO
Milano, 30 aprile 2021 – Edison comunica di aver ceduto in data odierna a 2i Rete Gas il 100% di Infrastrutture Distribuzione Gas (IDG) per un valore di 150 milioni di euro, in esecuzione dell'accordo sottoscritto il 14 gennaio 2021. L'operazione rientra nella strategia della società che, in linea con gli obiettivi della transizione ecologica del Paese e con il PNRR, punta a sviluppare nuova generazione rinnovabile e low carbon, mobilità sostenibile, efficienza energetica e servizi a valore aggiunto per i clienti finali. Strategia che si accompagna al disinvestimento dalle attività non core, come la distribuzione di gas.
IDG gestisce le reti e gli impianti per la distribuzione del gas in 58 Comuni di Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Lombardia e Veneto, è presente in 17 ambiti territoriali minimi (Atem) e annovera 152 mila clienti.

EDISON COMPLETES THE SALE OF INFRASTRUTTURE DISTRIBUZIONE GAS TO 2I RETE GAS FOR 150 MILLION EURO
Milan, April 30, 2021 – Edison announces today the completion of the sale of 100% of Infrastrutture Distribuzione Gas (IDG) to 2i Rete Gas for a value of 150 million euro, pursuant to the agreement entered into on January 14, 2021. The operation is part of the Edison strategy to increase its capacity from renewable and low-carbon sources, develop sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and valueadded services for customers, in line with the Italian energy transition targets and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). A strategy that envisages also the divestment from non-core activities, such as gas distribution.
IDG manages the grids and plants for the gas distribution in 58 Municipalities of Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Lombardia and Veneto Regions, it operates in 17 minimum geographical areas (known as Atems) and has 152 thousand customers.
