GAROFALO HEALTH CARE S.P.A. ENTRA NELL'INDICE FTSE ITALIA MID CAP

Roma, 30 luglio 2021 - Garofalo Health Care S.p.A. ("GHC"), quotata sul segmento STAR di Borsa Italiana, comunica che a partire da lunedì 2 agosto p.v. le proprie azioni ordinarie (ISIN: IT0005345233) verranno incluse nell'indice FTSE Italia Mid Cap.

La promozione nell'indice, che raccoglie le prime 60 società italiane per capitalizzazione borsistica non ricomprese nell'indice FTSE MIB, è stata decisa dal FTSE Italia Index Series Technical Committee nell'ambito della consueta revisione trimestrale del paniere e avviene alla luce del rispetto di rigorosi requisiti di flottante e liquidità da parte delle azioni GHC.

Alessandro Maria Rinaldi, Presidente del Consiglio di Amministrazione di GHC, ha dichiarato: "Il ritorno nell'indice Ftse Italia Mid Cap, a pochi mesi di distanza dall'ingresso nel segmento STAR, è un segnale importante che colloca GHC tra le prime cento società quotate italiane per valore di Borsa. Siamo convinti che questo contribuirà ad ampliare ulteriormente la nostra base azionaria, a beneficio di tutti i nostri soci. Tra l'altro questa promozione coincide con la seconda acquisizione effettuata nell'anno e l'ottava dalla quotazione, operazioni di rilievo che ci hanno portato a raddoppiare sia il fatturato che l'Ebitda Adjusted di Gruppo in quasi due anni e mezzo."

Anche dopo il passaggio al nuovo indice, GHC continuerà a far parte del segmento STAR, così come degli indici FTSE Italia All-Share e FTSE Italia STAR, mentre dal 2 agosto cesserà di appartenere all'indice FTSE Italia Small Cap.

GAROFALO HEALTH CARE S.P.A ENTERS THE FTSE ITALIA MID CAP INDEX

Rome, July 30, 2021 - Garofalo Health Care S.p.A. ("GHC"), listed on the STAR segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, announces that starting from next Monday, August 2 its ordinary shares (ISIN: IT0005345233) will be included in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.

The promotion in the index, which gathers the top 60 Italian companies by market capitalization not included in the FTSE MIB index, was decided by the FTSE Italia Index Series Technical Committee as part of the usual quarterly review of the basket and takes place considering the compliance by GHC shares with strict free float and liquidity requirements.

Alessandro Maria Rinaldi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GHC, stated: "The return to the Ftse Italia Mid Cap index, a few months after entering the STAR segment, is an important signal that places GHC among the top hundred companies listed in Italy by market capitalisation. We are confident that this will help to further expand our shareholder base, for the benefit of all our shareholders. Among other things, this promotion coincides with the second acquisition made in the year and the eighth since the IPO, significant transactions that have led us to double both Revenues and Adjusted Ebitda of the Group in almost two and a half years."

Even after the transition to the new index, GHC will continue to be part of the STAR segment, as well as the FTSE Italia All-Share and FTSE Italia STAR indices, while from August 2 it will cease to belong to the FTSE Italia Small Cap index.
