RESIGNATION OF THE NON-EXECUTIVE INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR STEFANO PAREGLIO

Rome, 23th August 2021 – Avio S.p.A. ("Avio" or the "Company") announces that it has received today the communication with the resignation of Prof. Stefano Pareglio from the position of Independent non-executive Director of the Company, due to incompatibilities arising from his new professional commitments. The resignation is effective immediately.

Prof. Stefano Pareglio was also a member of Avio's Sustainability Committee.

It should be noted that, based on the communications made to the Company and to the public, Prof. Stefano Pareglio did not hold, at the time of his resignation, any shares of the Company, neither directly nor indirectly.

The Company's Board of Directors is already working on the matter and, at its next meeting, will initiate the formal process necessary to co-opt a new director as soon as possible.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer, also on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors, thank Prof. Stefano Pareglio for the activity carried out and the commitment shown in exercising his function within the Board of Directors and the Avio Sustainability Committee.
