INFORMATION REGARDING THE SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAM

Arco (TN), December 13, 2021 – Regarding the Share Repurchase Program approved by the Shareholders' Meeting on October 20, 2021, Aquafil S.p.A. (Aquafil or the Company) [ECNL IM communicates – under and for the effects of Art. 5 of EU Regulation 596/2014, and Article 2, Paragraph 3 of EU Delegated Regulation n. 2016/1052 of the EU Commission of 8 March 2016 – to have provided for the purchase on Euronext STAR Milan (Electronic Stock Market), between December 6, 2021 and up to and including December 10, 2021, a total of 33,697 treasury shares (ISIN CODE: IT0005241192) at a unitary average price of € 7.728 for a total value of € 260,413,58.

The purchases were entirely carried out through the intermediary appointed to implement the Buy-back program, Intermonte.

Restating what has already been communicated to the market, the purchases, for a maximum amount held in the Company's and its subsidiaries' portfolio that does not exceed a total of 3% of the share capital, aims at allowing the Company to buy back and/or dispose of ordinary shares for the following purposes: (i) undertaking any investments, as well as containing abnormal movements in stock prices and fostering the regular conduct of trading beyond normal fluctuations related to market performance, without prejudice in any case to compliance with applicable statutory provisions; and (ii) keeping liquidity for subsequent uses (creation of a socalled securities reserve), in line with the strategic guidelines that the Company intends to pursuit, namely extraordinary transactions or any other deed of disposal and/or use, with respect to other subjects.

Based on the information provided by the above-mentioned delegated intermediary, the following is a summary of the purchase transactions made on the Electronic Stock Market on a daily basis in aggregate and, in the Annex, in detail:

As a result of the purchases announced today, Aquafil holds 258,901 Treasury Shares, equal to 0.5055% of the share capital.

Aquafil is a pioneer in the circular economy also thanks to the ECONYL® regeneration system, an innovative and sustainable process able to create new products from waste and give life to an endless cycle. The nylon waste is collected in locations all over the world and includes industrial waste but also products – such as fishing nets and rugs – that have reached the end of their useful life. Such waste is processed to obtain a raw material – caprolactam – with the same chemical and performance characteristics as those from fossil sources. The polymers produced from ECONYL® caprolactam are distributed to the Group's production plants, where they are transformed into yarn for rugs carpet flooring and for clothing.
