I MeteoHeroes rinnovano il proprio successo in Francia

Raggiunta intesa preliminare con Canal+ per la licenza anche della seconda stagione della serie coprodotta con MOPI e l'estensione della licenza della prima stagione

Anche la nuova stagione sarà trasmessa su Canal+Kids e Piwi+, il principale canale tematico su piattaforma pay-tv per bambini di lingua francese

23 dicembre 2021 – Dopo il contratto concluso per la prima stagione (cfr. comunicato stampa del 2 novembre 2020) e sull'onda del successo di audience in Francia, Mondo TV ha raggiunto con CANAL+ Thematiques, il più importante operatore di canali Pay-TV in Francia e parte del gruppo Vivendi (https://www.vivendi.com/communique/groupe-canal-n1 chaines-thematiques-france/), l'intesa preliminare per la licenza anche della seconda stagione della serie MeteoHeroes, prodotta da Mondo TV con MOPI nonché per l'estensione della licenza della prima stagione.

Con questa intesa, Canal+ riceverà in licenza i diritti di sfruttamento televisivo per la Pay-TV e il SVOD della seconda stagione per 36 mesi in Francia e in diversi territori di lingua francese. Contestualmente viene estesa la durata della licenza della prima stagione per portarla alla medesima scadenza del nuovo accordo sulla seconda stagione. La serie sarà quindi trasmessa su Piwi+ il principale canale tematico su piattaforma pay-tv per bambini di lingua francese.

La conferma da parte dell'importante partner, a fronte di un license fee interessante per la property, rappresenta un ulteriore tassello per lo sviluppo del business legato ai MeteoHeroes in uno dei più grandi mercati europei.

PRESS RELEASE MeteoHeroes renew their success in France

A preliminary understanding was reached with Canal+ also for the second season of the series coproduced with MOPI and the extension of the license on the first season

The second season will also be airing on Canal+Kids and Piwi +, the main pay-TV thematic channel for French children

23 December 2021: After the agreement executed for the first season (see press release dated 2 November 2020) and thanks to the audience results in France, Mondo TV reached with CANAL+ Thematiques, the most important Pay-TV channel operator in France and part of the Vivendi group (https://www.vivendi.com/communique/groupecanal-n1-chaines-thematiques-france/), the preliminary understanding for the license of the second season of the MeteoHeroes series, produced by Mondo TV with MOPI.

Based on this understandings, Canal+ will be granted with the rights to television exploitation for Pay-TV and SVOD of the series for 36 months in France and in various French-speaking territories. The same understandings extend the license on the first season to be coterminous with the second one. The series will be aired on Canal+Kids and Piwi+ the main pay-TV thematic channel for French children

The confirmation by the important partner, against an interesting license fee for the property, represents a further step for the development of the business derived from MeteoHeroes in one of the largest European markets.
